This article was so biased I had to tilt my head to one side just to read it.

"Pro-abortion power brokers"? So what are all the anti-choice groups? And why shouldn't politicians vote as THEY see fit instead of bowing to hysteria from anti-abortion forces?

Evidently, pregnant women are supposed to perform military duties, including combat. Great idea.

You know what? They are MY tax dollars, too, and I WANT them to be available to women who realize they are not ready to have children yet. Who are these cretins to tell me where my taxes go?

Why shouldn't women in the armed forces have the same access to a LEGAL procedure as the women at home? They risk their lives for their country every day and they are entitled to the same civil liberties as the rest of us. Hell, I'd say they're MORE entitled to it, given the threat of rape they deal with within their own ranks and at enemy hands.

Way to treat your protectors like expendable, second-class citizens.

When my SIL was in the military, they expected her to work double shifts (swing/graveyard)...of course they didn't offer any child care, during those hours.
