"It ain't like Katrina"

I wonder if this quote is from the same fat slob that said staying in the football stadium after Katrina was "just like slavery"

Predictable coverage by media that typically acts as Obama's PR department. We can hope this article gives a true and objective report, but unfortunately, we can't be sure.

It's not like Katrina because we don't have a Democrat Governor and a Democrat Mayor mismanaging emergency response and using widespread destruction and death for political points.

If Bush were still in the white house, the headlines would read, "Bush slow to respond again." We also need to remember that Alabama has a Republican governor. Most americans are hard working and very giving, so whenever something like this happens, you see the good in a lot of people. New Orleans was a completely different situation. You had people that didn't listen to the warnings to get out, you had a city under water so it was hard to get in rescue crews, and you also had a large population of people who refused to help out in any way because they have been trained from birth that they need to rely on government for everything. It might sound harsh, but it's the truth.

Well, since they want less government. Let them recover on their own. Didn't take 'em long to come crying to Washington for help.

Damn that big government forcing states to take federal disaster money. For all the crap these southern states have given the first black president he sure did write that check pretty quick for them. And they grab it quicker than money provided from the stimulus. Won't do them any good though. God hates the southern states and their racist, morally bankrupt political views. He sends tornados to remind the ignorant bigots how pathetically fantastic their goals of confederacy still are and until people there start treating one another like real christians should he will send more and more. Good thing they got that Noah's Ark theme park. Just because their heads are empty doesn't mean they'll be able to float. They're gonna need that boat.

Actually it's all our money given out through the department of agriculture, education, health and human services, homeland security, housing and urban development, justice, labor, interior, treasury, veterans affair, office of personal management, postal service, U.S. small business administration and Social Security administration. So our tax dollars are going to take care of all these poor homeless people. How about we give them all drug tests first before we issue checks out? How can these states call the president and his party socialist and communist when if there is a need for them that wealth can be spread around so quickly. Just calling out hypocrites as I see them. Why not just let the insurance industry take care of them? Why have the federal government involved at all? I thought we needed to cut spending? I thought republican states don't need social safety nets or as its normally called social security. Why do I have to pay for people God hates? They should all have money saved up to keep living off of or insurance claims to have rewarded to them. Cut spending you hypocrite socialist marxist commie scumbags.

So, a couple of New York Times reporters interview "numerous" people and make a leading, political, statement about thousands of disaster victims. If watching Obama's motorcade roll by gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling but you are outraged that it took Bush 12 days to visit Katrina: the area was completely underwater.! Duh!

Contrary the Liberal Media's coverage of Katrina, the rescue effort was the largest and most successful in the history of the world.

Over 30,000 people were airlifted out...one-by-one.

No one can buy karma. This is karma previously lent out and now returned back in full. Yeah I'll admit it's a dickish thing to say considering all the suffering, but it's no worst than the crap people in these states have been spewing out on here every day. It sure is easy to dish out the political diatribe and insults when things are bad elsewhere so it should be just as easy to take it.
