Great accolades from the halls of academia don't always translate into success, especially without any real world experience outside of academia. Christine Romer comes to mind. She looked great on paper. There must be some qualified academics out there who also have proven, real world experience. How about one of those?
Hey, maybe we can get some former ENRON executives to manage the fed for us. They might do just as great a job with the nation as they did with ENRON.

Obama chooses crooks from Goldman Sachs or people that have no real world experience from academia for most financial posts. What an Idiot.

"The laughing liberal"<crickets chirping"

You are TOO funny. I am still waiting to be educated by "Davy." He said two paragraphs and I am waiting. I imagine I will have to wade through a whole long explanation of how the government injects money into a wavering economy to "jumpstart it," which is essentially what the Keynesian theory is. Unfortunately for the "Keynesians" in our administration, they did not stimulate the economy, but instead, learned how monkeys react to cocaine and other such important facts.

As the much reviled Dick Cheney said in his remarks at the groundbreakiing of the Bush Library at SMU, it is the only "shovel ready" job in the country and it's already been paid for. Where, oh where has our Keynesian stimulus gone? So much for THAT theory.

The fact that Mr. Diamond won the Nobel Prize is hardly a recommendation, given some of the recent winners. The integrity of this award has been greatly diminished by the presentation to Mr. Obama for...what he MIGHT do. There are a few other foul balls, including Al Gore. If he gets his way, through "cap 'n tax," he stands to make a bundle in carbon trading. So much for environmental altruism.
So does Obama, from his CCX (Chicago Climate Exchange) trust fund.

Yep, but it's far worse than that.

Obama's alliances and web of corruption, cronyism, collusion, and thuggery runs deep, and includes the likes of George Soros, Tony Rezko, Rashid Khalidi, Bill Ayers, Valerie Jarrett, Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod, John Podesta, Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelick, James Johnson, Andy Stern, Al Gore, Emil Jones, Allison Davis, Cecil Butler, ACORN, GIM, CCX, and a slew of former Goldman execs and lobbyists.

He's appointed a cabinet and cadre of czars comprised of avowed-communists, pro-abortion, anti-free-speech, anti-gun, anti-free market, anti-business, pro-illegal, wealth redistribution and healthcare-rationing advocates, union bosses, Goldman lobbyists, and inexperienced cronies and radicals including Van Jones, Katherine Sebelius, Mark Llloyd, Anita Dunn, Richard Holbrooke, Jeffrey Crowley, Kenneth Feinberg, Earl Devaney, Daniel Fried, John Brennan....

...And Cass Sunstein (Regulatory Czar), the liberal activist judge who stated that "free speech needs to be limited for the common good", while also believing in "Explicit Consent" (harvesting human organs without family consent), and allowing animals to be represented in court, while banning all hunting.

...And union boss Ken Bloom (Manufacturing Czar), who stated that "we all know that the free market is nonsense. We kind of agree with Mao [Tse Tung] that political power comes largely from the barrel of a gun".

...And John Holdren (Science Czar) who believes in forced abortions, mass sterilizations and seizing babies from teen mothers.

...And Kevin Jennings (Safe School Czar), a homosexual and organizer of a group called Gay, Lesbian, Straight, and the Education Network who uses taxpayer funds for "Fisting Kits" to teenagers.

Also remember who appointed a radical La Raza activist to the SCOTUS, followed by the incompetent radical leftist Kagan, who believes that government has the right to dictate what Americans can eat, along with government censorship and believing that gun ownership is not a right!

The only experience bush had was viewing the world from through an empty beer bottle. You supported that? Why the change of heart? Oh that's right, just empty partisan rhetoric.
