ReTHUGlicans had a lock on this seat until Mourdock's anti-woman, Christian far-Right insanity came out. They may actually LOSE this seat now, which would be a STUNNING upset...LOL

1. Local islamic militia watches media coverage of violent protests and assault on embassy in Cairo;
2. They decide they want some scalps;
3. They gather weapons, and meet at consulate
4. They attack and overrun the place in minutes
5. They disperse when reinforcements arrive

And the Romney mouthpieces are already declaring draft dodger lost the election because of the hurricane...

JERUSALEM — New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie told an Israeli TV interviewer Sunday that President Barack Obama deserves praise for his efforts to help his state recover from Superstorm Sandy, but he is still going to vote for Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

Christie, a leading Romney surrogate, delivered the keynote speech at the Republican National Convention. Last week, he toured New Jersey's battered shore towns with Obama and discussed recovery assistance. The two embraced and had words of praise for each other's efforts to relieve the misery the superstorm brought to New Jersey residents — a rare display of bipartisanship during a bitter election campaign that has left the country deeply polarized.

"Honestly the fact of the matter is that what New Jerseyans expect from their governor is to work for them, not to work for any particular political party," Christie said in an interview from New Jersey broadcast on Israel's Channel 2 TV, which had sent one of its main anchors to report on the presidential campaign and storm aftermath.

But Christie insisted that nothing that happened has caused him to waver in his commitment to Romney.

"I'm a Republican, I've endorsed Mitt Romney and I support him. I intend to vote for him on Tuesday," Christie said. "But the fact of the matter is that if the President of the United States comes here and he is willing to help my people, and he does it, then I'm going to say nice things about him because he's earned it."

"And I've said plenty of not-nice things about the president over time — he knows that. And we joked about that when we were together this week," Christies said.

Christie dismissed critics on the right who have accused him of giving a boost to Obama in the closing days of the campaign.

"The fact is that if somebody does a good job they deserve credit and New Jerseyans expect me to work with everybody —Republicans, Democrats, Independents —to get through this crisis and get the job done," Christie said.

Polls have opened, and will close tomorrow. Then the real polls will be available - popular vote by state, and final results of the Electoral College balloting.

And then your polls will mean exactly squat....LOL

GOP poll watchers allegedly targeting black precincts in Pittsburgh
Follow on Twitter @DanielDenvir

Civil rights and other progressive groups have sent a letter to Assistant U.S. Attorney General Thomas Perez alleging that the Pennsylvania Republican Party and Pittsburgh Tea Party are targeting Pittsburgh precincts with large numbers of black voters "under the guise of combating alleged voter fraud."

“We have seen their list and it strongly suggests that the Pennsylvania Republican Party is coordinating with the Pittsburgh Tea Party to target African American voters for intimidation at the polls,” according to a statement from Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Associate General Counsel Nicole Berner.“The Pennsylvania Republican Party has serious questions to answer about where they are putting their poll watchers and why.”

According to the letter, the rights organizations obtained a partial list of targeted precincts distributed at a Pittsburgh Tea Party poll watcher training coordinated with the Republican Party. The precincts have a black voter registration of over 79 percent.

OK with Righties, of course, since disenfranchising minority, elderly, student, and other lib voters is what they're all about. By their own actions and even their own admissions...

As a Hoosier, I can readily say Mourdock is a goofball, but he does adequately reflect the GOP position on abortions. As the GOP platform states, a fetus (fertilized egg) is a person, and thus any interference with it's development is murder. No abortions, no exceptions say Mourdock, Aiken and the Republicans who are not lying about their party's intentions. With the elections of Republicans abortions will be illegal in the US, which is problematic because millions of women have had them and can thus be charged with murder as there is no statue of limitations. This is one reason in GOP states, they are raiding the records of Planned Parenthood.
Besides the rape/abortion business, according to Republicans as Indiana's state Treasurer Mourdock rarely showed up for work (about 33% of the time) and "lost" $320 million in taxpayer money for five years, in that same time period my stock portfolio doubled. Mourdock is stupid, lazy and will make an absolutely worthless Senator if elected.
