Tea Party is too much of a radicalized fringe group IMO. I like that they took out some establishment politicians but the people they cater to is their downfall. I find it difficult to be part of an agenda that has so much intolerance.

It seems that the Tea Party is wasting their time on this guy as he has more support than what the Tea Party can muster up against him. Looks like the Tea Party is losing its political whim but honestly, who thought that this fringe groups would last?

I've voted for Lugar every 6 years since '84.

If he makes it through the Primary, I'll leave that Senate race as an undervote in the General Election.

He'll never get another vote from me. ever! And there are thousands of us that feel this way.

And those of you that consider the TEA Party as fringe.....please keep telling yourself that. The TEA Party just gave the Democrats the worst @ss-whipping they've ever had and stopped Obama progressive agenda in it's tracks making him the earliest lame duck in presidential history.

Which is quite fitting , since he has already earned the distinction of being a worse President than our worst President Jimmah Carter.

Are you kidding me? Can you people not see that all you are accomplishing is splitting the Republican vote and handing the future to the Democrats?

You are delusional if you think this President will be a lame duck president. He is polling an approval rating of over 50%. Economists are predicting growth in 2011 and as the economy grows so will his approval rating!

The reality is that your fringe group will fare no better than the previous ones. Even the Libertarians will tell you it is a lost cause.

When Mr. Lugar voted to keep "earmarks" (AKA PORK) that was it for me. I had voted for Mr. Lugar many times, but no more.
