Started with tax the millionaires, dropped down to those making 250K, then to 200K now somewhere below that. Basically the only ones that won't see an increase are thos that don't pay any income tax now.

They will only become the "Obama tax cuts" if he can find a way to spin it in his favor.

As it is, he can still blame Bush.

Poll: Majority want tax cuts for all, even the wealthy

WASHINGTON — A majority of Americans want the Bush tax cuts extended for everyone, despite a strong push by President Barack Obama to eliminate them on higher incomes, according to a new McClatchy-Marist poll.

The poll found 52 percent of registered voters saying they want all the tax cuts extended, including the tax cuts for incomes above $250,000, while 43 percent want the cuts extended just for incomes below that threshhold.

Read more here: http://www.mcclatchydc.com/2012/07/13/156148/...

And this poll oversampled Democrats to Republicans (a common practice) 36% to 29%.

Why not extend tax cuts PERMANENTLY, President Obama?

It's the Obama 'just re-elect me' mantra.

As Obama stated himself:

BARACK OBAMA, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: "This is my last election. And AFTER my election, I have more flexibility"

DMITRY MEDVEDEV, RUSSIAN PRESIDENT: "I understand you. I transmit this information to Vladimir."

ObamaCare TAXES kick in AFTER the election.

One can bet that Obama WILL TAX heavily AFTER the election.

Obama=NO TRUST!
Obama=NO CONFIDENCE!
Obama=FAILED ECONOMY!
Obama=CONTINUALLY DISRUPTING UNITY IN AMERICA!

If you want CONTINUED dissension in America, vote for Obama!

If you want someone to unify this country, vote for Mitt Romney!

We see and hear President Obama on a continual basis divide America.

We see and hear Mitt Romney want to unite our country.

Obama=continued division
Romney=unity in america

Mitt Romney will vote with all elected officials. He will not further divide our country like Obama has.

Obama perpetrates hate.

SO is the GOP willing to oppose the tax cuts if the top income folks don't get there cut?

How is that politically smart protecting a very small minority.

If the GOP let's Obama has his way, they would take the number one issue off the table for Obama's 2012 campaign. Let them have it, then when it does not work, you can show them it did not work. And besides many folks that make more than a million a year...vote democrat.

Oh but you GOP supporters are saying "but that is not very conservative and I would agree. To that I say, neither was doubling the size of government while adding new entitlements and government agencies and exploding the deficit, but the GOP not only supported that but passed it. Then you gave us McCain, a candidate that agreed with democrats as much as his fellow republicans.

Pass the cuts except on the rich and you take the number one issue away form Obama and the democrats.

Please don't tell me that the GOP is willing to hold up tax cuts for tens of millions just so that the top earners also get their cuts. That is not a good plan to win the supports of these tens of millions and it furthers the perception that the GOP are the party for the rich.

Voters: Obama Built Economic Downturn

The Hill released a poll today which goes a long way to explain the challenge Barack Obama faces on his bid for reelection. The poll of likely voters found that 64% believe the current economic downturn is more severe than those in the past. Two-thirds, 66%, believe that the downturn is the result of bad policy decisions out of Washington. Worse, for Obama, though, is that a majority of voters put the blame for the downturn squarely on him.

53% of likely voters say, "Obama has taken the wrong actions and slowed the recovery down." Obama has constantly tried to shift the voters' anxiety about the economy to others, blaming Wall Street, Congress or even former President Bush for the economic troubles. But a plurality, 34%, say Obama is most to blame for the downturn. That view is even stronger among Independents, 37% of whom believe Obama's policies are most responsible.

ReTHUGlican strategy is to let the cuts expire and blame Obama and the Dems for it, then try to force through a new package of cuts to use as a political wedge issue.

They know Obama will win, and intend to continue their insane war against him and America. Don't make the mistake of voting reTHUGlican this fall. They don't have America's interests at heart.

In fact, it's doubtful they have hearts at all...:)

..blah, blah, blah....
Because we need to pay for government and reduce deficits, you moron. The cuts were a mistake in the FIRST place, as they created large deficits leading into a massive recession.

Not a word of it is true, or even plausible. Typical of today's ultra-Right.

NATIONAL SECURITY LEAKS!

DEMOCRAT, YES, Democrat SENATOR Diane Feinstein (chair of the National SECURITY committee!) has stated that the leaks on intelligence came from the WHITE HOUSE.

THE BUCK STOPS WITH OBAMA! If Obama can call out Mitt Romney, then Obama has to look at his appointees and how they JEOPARDIZE people and American.

Obama: on 07/13/2012
"Well, here's what I know. We were just talking about responsibility, and as president of the United States, it's pretty clear to me that I'M RESONSIBLE for folks who are working in the federal government. And, you know, Harry Truman said the buck stops with you."
http://content.usatoday.com/communities/theov...

TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE LEAKS IN THE WHITE HOUSE FROM YOU OWN APPOINTEES, PResident obama.

TREASONOUS and DANGEROUS.

Obama IS responsible for those he placed in these positions. BUNGLING in the White House.

NO TRUST IN OBAMA.

Obama is dangerous for America. It's Obama's appointees who endanger our country and endanger those who put their lives on the line for America.

OUT IN 2012

NOBAMA!

A democrat senator telling THE TRUTH about the White House.

Thank you, Senator, for standing up for America and not letting the Obama boys and girls put this country in danger!

Like the poor pay taxes. They do not, and that is the problem. Even if we taxed them $1. per hundred they make from working, or are given for sitting around doing nothing, then they would have a say in how things are done. They don't need to pay taxes, they have sold their vote to the Democrats, and do nothing for their ill gotten gain.
