So, the Bush tax cuts will expire.
So, the ss tax will be back to former levels.
And are the automatic budget cuts going to be
allowed to happen?
This is the fiscal cliff everyone was talking about.
These automatic events do not need any action by anyone.
The difference between Dems and Repubs on this is:
Dems won't allow the sudden surge in revenues to lower the deficit. They'll think of new ways to
spend it and STILL that won't be enough! They'll need to borrow again.

Actually there is not much to stop it, as I see it. If obungler should make a comeback everything will go as he planned it..........more problems for middle class, etc, if R/R wins it will already be in place and unlike all obunglers flashy and job killing resolutions, they will take a act of congress to overturn and if we do not get a super majority in the Senate, they will stay.
The only way to change things is to do a lib thing, vote early and everyplaceucan.(haha). If it is close, obunglers last stand (his lawyers will control things and stall for months. Meanwhile the bungler stays!
