The "enthusiasm" about RMoney at the republicannot shindig last week showed that some of those speakers "did not want to be there with RMoney" Perhaps RMoney knows that he is a weak choice with the republicants and this election is more about getting this president out of office and less about RMoney being the next president.
Too bad - even the repubes deserve better.

<quoted text>Well maybe, but it would be helpful if there was proof.
I understand your desire for solid proof, however, the fact that there isn't does hint at a more frightening consequence, that the Republican members are blindly following without questioning their party. The Democrat video that was leaked was done because Democrats were pissed about it.

Sounds about right. Every Sunday all good Mormons go to church and get lectured about how they should be good little republicans and vote for the republicans. If you are not voting for republicans you are not living right and you must repent. People like that are not generally allowed in the Temple because you just know they must have some unrepentant sins they are dealing with that will prevent them from hearing that God is a republican. They will even tell you to go listen to Rush Limbaugh and pretend that it somehow is spiritual.
There are Democrat Mormons. I know one.

The post I responded to suggested about 5. That leaves 4 you don't know.

Of course it is an exaggeration. Official statistics show only about 90% of Mormons are republican.

However, that doesn't change the strong push on the members to become republican. The church teaches against smoking as well, but about 10% still smoke. I don't have any numbers on those who are democrat and smoke.
