What else is a republican going to say about the Democrat lead government. I would like to hear him say that the entire corrupt system needs to be overhauled and these way over termed senators need to stop being part of the problem and become the solution. But then he would be talking about himself and you know that won't happen.

The first step is term limits for all federal senators and representatives and elimination of their pensions, lifetime healthcare packages, free stamps, postal services, and on and on.$175,000/year for life, Senator Hatch???? How much of the budget are these retirement perks for all those senators and representatives--even if they serve just one term??? Oh, and who votes for these packages? That's right--Congress!

Good comments, PC Rider, Carlos and PC resident. Mr. Hatch has become out of touch with reality and should really take (or re-take) "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" seminar by Steve Covey.

Then, he ought to work on Habits #4 and #5 that respectively say "Think Win-Win" and "Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood."

If Mr. Hatch understood and applied these precepts, it would go a long way in restoring functionality into our government.
