AAAWwwwwww...the teabaggers can't control what the press asks about social issues? Guess they dont' believe in a free press either.

Did these cretins really think they could run for public office on one issue--especially an issue that they have yet to give concrete examples of how they could improve its circumstances?

And, are they REALLY trying to blame the economy on obama, who has been in office less than two years? That PROVES they haven't clue about the whole problem.

You're right about one thing, the economy is not all Obama's making as the democrats have held a SUPER MAJORITY the House AND Senate since Nov 2006 in which Obama represented only one vote which he rarely exercised. So yes , the democrats in congress shoulder some responsibility along with Obama.

Dubya also tee'd Obama up by signing the first failed pork laden stupid stimulus the democrats sent to his desk. Rather deft move on his part politically but it hurt the country and his legacy will suffer for it.

As for your missive relative to the Tea Party candidates, lets hear you crying November 3rd.

The day the democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009 it was actually January 3rd 2007 the day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Senate, the start of the 110th Congress. The Democratic Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995.

For those who are listening to those propagating the fallacy that everything is "Bush's Fault", think about this:

January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress:

AT THE TIME:
* The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77

* The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%

* The Unemployment rate was 4.6%

* George Bush's Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB CREATION!

REMEMBER THE DAY...
* January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the
House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the
Senate Banking Committee.

The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what
part of the economy?
BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!!!

THANK YOU DEMOCRATS for taking us from 13,000 DOW, 3.5 GDP and 4.6% Unemployment... to this CRISIS by (among MANY other things) dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac FIASCOS!(BTW: Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie - starting in 2001 because it was financially risky for the US economy).

And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac????
OBAMA

And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie???
OBAMA and the Democratic Congress

So when some one tries to blame Bush...

REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007.... THE DAY THE DEMOCRATS TOOK OVER!" Bush may have been in the car but the Democrats were in charge of the gas pedal and steering wheel they were driving.

Set the record straight on Bush! Place responsibility where it belongs.

The majority of the bush administration was a rubber-stamp affair between the GOP congress and bush; in fact, the GOP controlled congress for 12 years. BTW--those elected in 2006 didn't take office until early 2007. Are you seriously going to pretend that all the damage done happened after 2007? This is just another example of teabaggers not understanding economics.

Nice spin. But the Fannie Mae debacle was created out of GOP-formed legislation, loing before the dems took over. Do you question WHY the dems got such a boost in votes? Because the repubs had created such a complete mess with the lies about iraq, the crumbling economy, etc, that americans had had enough of it.

Job creation? The president does not create jobs, and unemployment has been rising for over a decade.

When even the Huffington Post is sounding the death knell for House Dems, liberals have absolutely no reason to be sanguine about November 2.

[Steve Lombardo in the Huffington Post] "...An even bigger problem for the White House is that voters may have already tuned the President out; virtually every possible metric used to evaluate the outcome of the midterm elections suggest a massive GOP victory. So let's just come out and say it: there is no reason to think that Republicans will do any worse than 1994 (when they picked up 54 seats) and there is plenty of data to suggest that it will, in fact, be a better year for the GOP. Our projection--based on all current available data--is that the GOP will gain between 60 and 70 House seats in November.

[,,,]
"... at this point in time it is our sense that the GOP will pick up a total of around 65 seats, giving the GOP control of the House (with 242 seats to the Democrats' 185)."

The New York Times [motto: "All Obama's news that fits, we print"] is similarly despondent.

You liberals sure are a violent lot but thats come to be expected. It seems that absent any intelligent data then you stoop to juvenile ad hominem attacks. Rather childish, yet quite normal for libs.

To the point , so you believe liberals like yourself have only controlled WDC for "a YEAR". The facts show , Liberal democrats came to power January 3 2007 ; now I dont know what liberal math you are using but for normal citizens thats 3 years 9 months of total control of the USG. How you arrive at one year is incredible. You and your ilk have driven our economy to ruin in 3 years 9 months ! Thats going to change soon. Get your tissue box handy clownboy.

The economy was in shambles and was the leading issue in the presidential campaign, remember--the campaign began more or less officially at the end of 2007. That means that ALL THAT DAMAGE had to have been done--by your statements--in 1 year (less, really.) Bailouts, unemployment, foreclosures--all ere topics for debate.

On the ther hand, the deficit, although still high, is LESS than it was two years ago. Economic indicators are ALL improving.

You are really transparent! Everyone can tell when you know someone else is right. You start with the stfu and the kool aid thing. The Tea Party is growing daily, and it was born out of frustration over obamas lack of intelligence and his idiotic obamacare health care plan. You can own that.

Yeah, what could be less intelligent that caring for millions of americans shut out by the insurance companies?

Speaking of lack of intelligence--you may not have noticed, but the teabagger candidates are the people who usually can't get hired as greeters at wal-mart. Hell, your pin-up girl, palin, doesn't even know what newspaper she reads. The teabaggers are based totally on willful stupidity and self-righteousness. I have yet to hear one of your august leaders even hint about having an actual plan about economic recovery--all they have are empty slogans.

Someone else may be right, but it sure as f**k isn't YOU, bubba.

And today, with all your whining and puling, at this moment the DJ is 11,115.95. Not much of a difference; certainly not one that any broker would consider unusual.

Bush crated jobs--in the government. The patriot act opened up enormous job markets--all of which WE are paying for. Funny, when FDR created jobs, they called him a socialist; when bush does it, it's just peachy-keen. In point of fact, the president NEVER creates private-sector jobs; they come from the economy and private companies, buoyed by consumer intake.

As for the national debt:
http://zfacts.com/p/318.html

Bush did not veto any congressional budgets, so whatever they came up with, he agreed with.

Job search? No such entry in the Big Lexicon O' Liberalspeak [ http://dailycaller.com/2010/09/20/a-lexicon-f... ].

The pro-abort patricians, their feckless dependents, and the mainstream media always get their panties in a wad when the lumpenproles rise up and reinstall grownups as majorities in Congress.(Cf. ABC's Peter "The voters had a temper tantrum last week" Jennings in 1994) There'll be a lot of wadded panties come Nov. 3.

"The Center for Responsive Politics has described the rate of contributions by TEA partiers to conservative senate candidates as “unprecedented.” Its analysis of available Federal Elections Commission records reveals that the Second American Revolution we are living through is being fueled by donations of $200.00 or less.

"These small donations are substantially outpacing the normal amount of such donations which typically comes to about 20% for Senate candidates.

"Around the country conservatives are experiencing this surge of small donations. In Pennsylvania, Pat Toomey is receiving 1/3 of his donations from small donations, while Florida’s Marco Rubio is at 46%.

"In Kentucky Rand Paul is at the same 46% and Delaware’s Christine O’Donnell is getting small donations at the rate of 45%. The big winners in the “small donations” race are Joe Miller in Alaska at 51% and Nevada’s Sharron Angle who is enjoying small donor support making up a huge 58% of her campaign finance receipts.
