The worst part of this is that the fool actually thinks that he only "mispoke" a word; and not the reality that his whole world view, his very sense of reason, is degenerate and warped.

He speaks of "legitimate rape," what is that?
When a family member is raped?
With 'illegitimate rape' being when a stranger is raped?

And what species of female does Akin conjoin with, that can close off its genital functions at will?
Not humans, surely.

Hey, Congressman Akin, go fuck a duck!

Akin didn't really apologize. He sputtered and blamed it on a bad choice of words.

Bad choice of words?!?!?! Really? A woman's body will "tighten up" and not allow a pregnancy to occur during a legitmate rape.

It's hard for me to even describe the ignorance of such a statement, especially a statement said in public. Yet he, and many of his ilk, actually believe this lunacy even after numerous medical experts laugh out loud and debunk the myth.

Now I'm further convinced that politicians, especially those of the male persuasian need to stay out of women's issue! If I were a female politician I would put a ban on Viagra. I would make getting caught with a hooker a ten year sentence. Looking at porn would be crime punishable by fines. And every man would have to
contribute to a DNA data base so we would always know who the baby-daddy is.

You'd see men screaming their heads off about the unfairness of it all. But they don't mind legislating MY womb and I'm tired of it. When it comes to MY body, the government needs to stay the hell away from me.

I love out conservative claim to want less government, but they do everything they can to shove government in our faces.

OF COURSE the democrats will use this!
obama has shown, it's much easier to run on attacks than on issues, accomplishments, ideas and answers ...

but what are they going to do if akin drops out?
or worse, if he wins????

What do you think, you miscogenist?

Do you agree with Akin?
I know you know nothing of human relations, nevermind sexual relations; but take a guess.

Do you still believe in Akin?
How about Palin & Bachmann?

it's just fine for the democrats to use this to tar the entire republican party. so long as it's OK for the republicans to say that the democrats are all lovers of homosexual prostitutes, since barney franks is. what's good for the goose...

No, the worst part of this whole thing is that Obama, and the Democrats have nothing better to talk about, like a successful first term for their incompetent President. I am here to tell you Obama will get most of the female vote, Romney was down 8 points before Akin, and Romney will get the male vote where he is leading Obama by 20 points. Very simply this elecion is still about the economy, and Jobs, and Obama is losing on those issues.

If the Democrats don't take advantage of rethug extremism they may lose the election to a cult member and a vicious social Darwinist!

i thought you secular liberals liked darwin. so, now he is a bad guy? a "vicious" social darwinist would be even better in your book, right? scientific. evolutionary. and all that. so romney should be your man. are you throwing in the towel on SCIENCE???
