Big oil need the tax breaks to keep paying CNN for the million dollar a minute commercials about "how good the oil industry is" for the people of America that are paying with tax money their tax breaks. At the same time, the American consumer is not only paying Big Oil the tax breaks, but also paying almost $5 per gallon gas prices. It is about raping the American consumer (gang raping the consumer) by the BIG OIL industry. We are rape victims giving subsidies to our rapists..
