It is difficult to poll Southerners, because they often do not vote in off year elections. The men especially tend to vote heavily in Presidential elections, and not mid term elections. In Senator Landrieu's case she is very popular, and could make a difference this election.

This tells you that pols dont mean squat.Their results reflect the self serving interests of who ever is paying for the pol.
