UTEP President Diana Natalicio to speak at Georgetown graduation

UTEP President Dr. Diana Natalicio along with UTEP Chief of Police Cliff Walsh addresses the events that occured over the weekend where a stray bullet struck the south door of Bell Hall, traveled through the building and was discovered lodged in an office doorframe.

All the "tier one" talk regarding UTEP is just that, talk. The bun haired lady has truly lost all sense of reality with the "21st century demographic" comment. UTEP has little to no diversity, it's about 90% Hispanic. The ethnic makeup of UTEP is reflective of El Paso's demographics, and that is where Natalicio's "national" assertion fails.

UTEP will never be more than an extremely large community college as long as people like bun haired lady run the show.

Natalicio is the single greatest impediment to UTEP's vision of becoming a nationally respected university. Her insistence on maintaining an open admission policy is absurd. Absolutely NO prominent university has anything close to such a grossly misdirected policy.

My opinion of Georgetown has taken a nosedive. Even Mayor Cook would be a better speaker. At least he could bring a guitar and sign to the graduates and pass out his barbeque sauce.

you have to translate that in spanish for all the UTEP graudates from Juarez.
