More smoke being blown up our rear ends by the most inept administration in history. There are too many extra regs and too few inspectors ( by their own admission). The ban is still in place on the shallow water rigs where most of the exploration is done, so in effect the ban is in place and has not been lifted.
It is another attempt to buy votes.
Remember November. Vote ALL Democrats out!

Sorry Charlie. Too little too late. We know you're just lifting the ban because there's an election coming and your peeps are gonna get slaughtered. But who's to say you won't just impose another ban after the election? Not buying your sudden concern for jobs and drilling and a strong US oil industry. Obama HATES all private industry and would socialize it all if he could. Wake up to that fact people.
Is O gone yet

Obama has no clue what he's doing. There should have been no moratorium in the first place.

You are all so clueless it is not even funny.

Obama caving in here again is the point.

The Democrats will need to replace him in 2012.
Are you kidding

With who? It's not like you have anyone any better to replace
him with; you have proven that every 4 years since JFK.
I could probably pick a random name out of the phone book and
they would be better than anyone that party has produced in my
adult lifetime. Time to start looking outside parties and find
another Washington. Or start another party like Lincoln did.

Some one should throw a book at the President. A book outlining all his campaign promises and lies. The administration speaks out of both sides of its mouth. They let BP off the hook on complying with safety regulations. They said they were in charge of the clean-up in the gulf and did nothing. They are complicit in the largest ecological disaster in history and are still doing nothing to clean up the mess.
