The joke was the Bush administration's response to protecting our citizens.

How much help do you think the money the Bushites poured out to their corporate pals got down to the neighborhoods?

Great job, Brownie!
Some joke.

I hope you saw the accompanying article about M. Brown.

After the state and local governments failed to protect their citizens, the Bush respone was substantial and life-saving. The federal Coast Guard helicopters, boats and ships were on the job immediately. The USS BATAAN followed the storm to the city and begin saving lives immediately. But the Dem-controlled media lied about it all.
How much help do you think the money the Bushites poured out to their corporate pals got down to the neighborhoods?

Tennessee was under water in many areas, just like New Orleans but Obama did not do or say anything---had no problem giving Pakistan over $700 million dollars though.

Obama waited 56 days before he went to see the BP Oil destruction and waited 8 days before he even acknowledged it.

What say you.

If the people of Tenn can rebuild and help each other why didn't the citizens of New Orleans do anything except belly ache, run to other states, most causing havoc or crimes?

Tenn. citizens were not given a warning about their flooding but the people of New Orleans were and they still stay there when they had access to many, many school buses to take them out of harms way.

This was in the Louisville CJ Newspaper yesterday.

This was an article in response to what was said years ago
CJ Article:

HISPANICS CHANGING FACE OF NEW ORLEANS

(Remember, the gov had to bring in illegal mexicans to help rebuild N.O. because the citizens (80% are blacks) would not.

Neww Orleans--Five years after Hurricane Katrina, rebuilding the Big Easy has created a new community of Hispanic workers in this famously insular city, redrawing racial lines in a town long defined by black and white.

The change began within weeks of the storm which decimated homes and upended lies in one of the worst natural disasters in U.S. history. The number of black residents dropped as many left for other states....

Go to courier-journal Louisville Pluck Forum to read the rest of the story.

This does not condone illegal immigration and I am sure these people were illegal to all come to one city at one time. Yet, the forever pity for N.O. citizens needs to stop and people need to realize that most of the citizens did nothing.

They even had to have outside sources as in other states to rescue the poor animals.

Obama poured Billions into Haiti, and now
Packastan, and ignored the states of this
country., Who loves you??
Those people of Katrina were told to leave
days before it hit and they wouldn't, buses
set idle and they wouldn't go. Billions
were poured into them and what did they
rebuild...Guess.....Private people and org.
went down there worked and built and gave
and gave, for what good? When they left,
what did they do themselves? Miss., and Fla.,
also got hit, and how much whinning did they
do, they went to work and helped themselves.
I lived in a place back in the 80's flood that
destroyed homes, companies, cities and towns
were swept away. Know what help they got
from the gov.. absolutly NOTHING...My sister
had 5ft of water in her house, the RED Cross
gave her a mop and a broom. No whinning, we
went to work with bleach and water and cleaned
for months, throwing every thing away., start over,
they lost all they owned. No one came, we did
it. Don't tell me about what you think others
didn't get.....You don't wait for other to do
for you, you roll up you sleeve put on boots
and wade in and do something you know nothing
about.......WORK.....This country has people
YOU never heard of that had to start their lives
all over again. Think about that while you
pity others.
Don't play that blame game with me either...
Your president has affected that same town
with 12% unenployment while he sets in Washington
and brags what he done. All you can do is play
that old game, blame Bush, well you know what
you can do with that song....

The mayor did nothing to help, even though he knew that the buses were available and needed. One black teen-ager took some iniative and stole an unused bus. He saved several more people than the mayor and governor did.

It was President GW Bush who neglected to protect the Amerian people, both on September 11, 2001; and during and after Hurricaine Katrina.

It was also the Bush administration that destroyed our economy and job market; President Obama is the repairman, who has been left blunted tools.

If he is not capable of doing the job he should not have campaigned and went after the position with lies, corruption, etc.
Are you saying he did not know what was in store for him, especially after being in the Senate for a couple of years---I see, bad senator means bad leader.

Why are you whining about Bush while Obama has been president for almost two years? What are you trying to cover up?

There have been many presidents with a lot more crisis and less money and less tools to lead America.....but they did and they did without all of the bellyaching and blaming that Obama does.

Just think if this incompetent leader was our leader during WWI-WWII and other wars, goodness we would have been nuked off the map by now and we wouldn't have this socialist mad man in the WH.

Hey, maybe, this would have been better--nuked off the map instead of undergoing the corruption, lies and whining we are enduring or trying to endure now by this person.

I did not say what you intimate.

Nobody actually knew how deep was the damage that the Bushites did.

It was (most of) the Republicans, not Obama, who 'went after' the presidency with " lies, corruption."

COver up, no I expose the incompetant foolishness of "trickle down." It is actually "trickle out."

We make capital cheaper, it flows to 3rd world countrys where labor is cheaper. time for you to wake up from your proto-fascist dreamworld.

By the way, I was unaware of Obama doing mush "bellyaching." Could you provide some citations for your obvious lie?

Dick Cheney, the corporate socialist, is gone. Why are you referring to him now?

The 'neighborhoods' got back about what they put in, which was squat. I am so sick of entitlement beggars. You get what you pay for.

Here's a brilliant idea. If you own a home, get flood and hurricane insurance. If you don't, go punch yourself in the face for your own stupidity and stop asking the government to give you free money as a do-over. If you pay the least amount of taxes, stop asking for the world back. If you where told to evacuate and you stayed, don't expect squat. If you live in an area below sea level, don't expect the rest of the country to pay for you to make the same mistake twice. MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE! Nobody said a neighborhood in a stupid location is required by law to be rebuilt in the same location.

Money will never pour in to rebuild ghetto's, I don't care who is President. You people are seriously high.

Please, you are sounding like Obama now.

If Obama, while he was a president, did not know, then what does this say about him?

As for, provide data for Obama belly-aching......

Just turn your TV on everytime he gives a speech, this is all one needs to know.

Impeach Obama, not because he is HALF black but because he is ALL corrupted and bad for America.

Of course! All of the Democrats in think tanks, Congress and universities (plus multi billionaire George Soros) were too lazy and stupid to combine all of their massive mental powers and figure it out. But many of them were smart enought to get away with tax fraud.

You have forgotten that everything was actually under control. The hurricaine had passed, when the dike on the canal broke down, afterward. You have forgotten that is what destroyed New Orleans, and caused the many deaths.

To my knowledge, nobody died in Katrina. They all died from the flooding that followed. Maintenence of the dams and dikes and levees on the canals is ultimately the responsibility of the Army Corps of Engineers.

You have forgotten that the previous administration had identified the levees as in danger, and unable to withstand a class III or greater storm.

You have forgotten that money was allocated to this project (the canals) and it was cut by the Bushites, and used instead to finance the phony war in Iraq.

If only the Mississippi were as as shallow as you...New Orleans would not have suffered.

And, you can blow yourself, you lying creep. And stop lying so much.
