Sen. Mary Landrieu highlights ill effects of inadequate disaster assistance
Sen. Mary Landrieu , D-La., presided over a hearing last week designed to show that unless Congress provides more funding for disaster assistance a number of federal agencies, in addition to FEMA , will suffer shortfalls and be forced to curtail or even stop redevelopment work in Louisiana and other states.
