The reason that the post office is going broke is that the postal patrons do not have confidence in the USPS anymore. They used to deliver your mail but now they deliver mail to your house with someone elses address on it. You figure it out. We could send a battleship in front of them and they would not see it. 911 addressing implementation methods have caused some of their problems, but this return to sender/ address unknown has really taken a lot out of peoples confidence in the USPS. The post Master's in rural areas say they know where the addresses are, but they are restricted to deliverying mail only to a county assigned address for 911 services. This is a direct interference with the delivery of the U.S. Mail and is illegal according to U.S. Code. All the laws pertaining to civil rights have been broken by the method used to implement 911 addresses. These people run public services and not public dictatorships. The USPS can not be trusted to deliver the mail by 1950 standards. When you ask me for my address and I give you one, then who are you to tell me that the address that I gave you doesn't exist. If you have the authority to tell me where I live then why are you bothering me. Because it takes two to communicate, and three to cause confusion. The 911 addressing officials caused the recession with their arrogance and started the USPS on their spiral into the economic red zone. Any ex-military man can see that all communications were disrupted by these people and anyone who lives where these addresses are being implemented can verify how unsafe and confusing these addresses are. Go back to delivering the mail and stop dictating the address. You people and these 911 officials are acting just like a bunch of natzi's and not like public servants.

The Postal Service DOES NOT dictate your address. The County Planning Commission in your county government determines the addresses. Say a customer builds a house where none existed before, that customer applies to the Planning Commission and then the commission sends the post office a blue print or map with the new address to be assigned to that residence.

Blame anyone you like, the system is totally fucked in so many ways, it no longer serves the community, so why should the community serve it? Disband the whole damn thing, it ain't working. FedEx etc do a really good job. Weeping about some poor old granny who can't get her check is absolutely bogus
