I think the thread has gotten off the issue..... there's but one issue. Did the republicans pledge to eliminate earmarks, a few weeks ago? There was a big press conference announcing this initiative.

What have we on this matter, more than 1000 Republican Earmarks.

There's just a little inconsistency within the ranks of the Republican Caucus in Washington. Don't you think?,

Inconsistency or early stages of Alzheimer from the Lying Kings.

Emphasis on AFRAID...

Face it punk you are a loser coward NO life.

If not for welfare you would die.

Face to face with any man I bet you are the "special little wall flower" and would not utter a peep.

Now thump that skinny little bird cage you call a chest and spout some more cowardly drivel all safe behind your mammy's computer.

It must suck knowing how much of a coward you are... I mean you can run your mouth, but we both know (YOU especially) that you have no heart whatsoever.

Now run along bitch before someone actually slaps your punk ass.

Now you have fallen into the trap. Most of those “over one thousand” Republican earmarks are for useful projects. So are most of the Democratic earmarks. Because there is an occasional hunk of rancid pork (like the Wasilla Bridge to nowhere) they are trying to argue that all earmarks are bad. If you argue about who has how many, you have automatically bought into the argument that they are all bad. This is another Republican attempt squeeze more blood from Main Street Americans. Most earmarks are going to legitimate projects. These projects range from repairs of infrastructure to advanced research. Altogether they are a minuet part of the budget these projects often have beneficial economic impact on local economies. These are existing Main Street projects. By eliminating earmarks people will be laid off of jobs, and new ones will not be created which otherwise would have if that earmark had been passed. The Right Wing seems to have taken an attitude that anything the Government does that benefit’s the community at large is socialistic and needs to be done away with. Hell no, it is those leftists who think government should benefit the people. Call it what you will but when it is done away with the community at large suffers for it’s loss. It is a shoot yourself in the foot mentality. The Republicans however have an answer for that increased suffering. Blame it on the Democrats.

Actually it probably takes some guts to blow-up yourself. However blowing off your mouth on the internet doesn't. Your the big man who is calling everybody else gutless. Why don’t you do us all a favor and prove you have some guts. Take a stick of dynamite, shove it where the sun don't shine, and light the fuse.

The Point of the Republican Pledge wasn't relavent to if the projects were useful, the Republican Pledge was not to endorse earmarks...... period.

Earmarks do not add to the cost of a bill, an earmark is a congressional legislative provision that directs already approved funds to be spent on specific projects.

In the Republicans discription of Earmarks to their base they neglected to explain what earmarks were in totality. Telling half the truth is a lie.... an example, the $400 Million Alaska Bridge to Nowhere Earmark wasn't in addition to the Department of Transportation Allocations, but a claim on $400 million from the approved funding for the department of Transportation.

The Republican Battle cry against Earmarks is total propagand desiged to mis-inform low information voters. i.e the Republican Base was yet again bamboozled..... and hoodwinked. Death Panel and Plug Pullin on Grand Ma all over again.

Do try paying attention you illiterate twit.

Under the new policy, outlined in a Medicare regulation, the government will pay doctors who advise patients on options for end-of-life care, which may include advance directives to forgo aggressive life-sustaining treatment.

They (the lib givermint ) is wiling to pay doctors who advise a patient on end of life counseling (IE: DEATH PANELS) a bounty for doing so.... they re not paying for saving lives but will instead receive a bounty of recommending death .

Why is it you idiot drones always accuse those who are smarter than you of being as dumb as you?
