29 year old Plummer still refuses to release his income tax returns since he doesn't want us to know he doesn't PAY income tax like the rest of us have to because he's rich as Croesus. He also lectures about deficit spending when he's millions in debt (including from his Lt. Gov campaign) that he will have to pay back. Federal law REQUIRES that this money be paid back to the lender (his daddy) but he's almost 3 million in debt with no end in sight and he will have no way to pay it back on his salary without insider trading and special interest money. His rich daddy (yes this is RP Lumber's kid) will also be able to insider trade so it's no wonder he's financing sonny boy's campaign. 4 million to buy the kid a Congressional seat is nothing compared to what he'll be able to make insider trading which will be legal for RP Lumber with his whippersnapper in the 12th seat. With Plummer money insider trading, they can legally steal from all of us, so ANYBODY BUT THIS KID! He's never paid taxes in the district and he's never voted in the district--that's public record. Go home Ritchie Rich--we don't need you.

The Republican Party (and their elected officials) is SUPPOSED TO REMAIN neutral until after the primary is over. With their blatant attempt to force Plummer on the electorate, they are infuriating the public. This is viewed the same way that the rest of America is feeling about how Mitt Romney is being forced down their throats. The voters wish to choose their own candidate and the blatant unfairness is going to backfire in a big way because Americans like fair play and dislike favoritism being shown to one candidate particularly when it's obvious that the candidate is being favored due to excessive wealth. Money is not a qualification and the people of the district are not happy about the political machine trying to cut the voters out of the election process. Plummer could have primaried Shimkus but chose to try for what he perceived as low-hanging fruit but isn't and the people of the 12th don't want him. It will cost Plummer the primary election.
