Opinion: Department of Injustice

Something is very rotten at the U.S. Department of Justice. No other reasonable conclusion can be drawn from an independent report on the 2008 prosecution of then-Senator Ted Stevens.

It is about the Ted (bridge to nowhere)Stevens case that took place under Bush. The justice dept appears to have hidden evidence. That is what got the case dismissed. Justice was also one of those departments that had been over loaded with Bush appointees. In order to keep the Department in one piece President Obama has pretty much overlooked their past transgressions under Bush. Remember Bush was turning DOJ into a political hit squad that was loyal to him personally. One of the questions on the DOJ application was “What is it about President Bush that makes you want to serve him?”. It was a serious question and carried a lot of weight in the hiring decision.
