Obama says 'no' to pensions for WW II Alaska guards
In a strongly worded message to Congress outlining its priorities for a military spending bill, the Obama administration today said it disapproved of including money for pensions for 26 elderly members of the World War II-era Alaska Territorial Guard.

It does not surprise me that a man who receives a Nobel Peace prize award for a hopeful future effort, that has not come about would decline a pension for men who did something for our nation such as protecting America's borders during WWI.
