Let Insurance Co's charge what they want, price the poor out of insurance, let them die in the streets and harvest their usable organs for the wealthy. Use the remains for pet food.

Tort reform ... As if the ABA will allow that! Imagine how much they spend to lobby congress to maintain their nice incomes.

The bills on the hill are not about "healthcare reform", they are about control of people and stealing money.

If the bills were so great the congress and senate would never have exempted themseives from them....

What's worse than killing off the 'health care' hoax?

Answer:

Allowing the political Marxist to continue on their path of destruction.

They'll just fear monger a new one. Like,'The Next ICE AGE is here!'

I think the ice age one is recycled from the 60's, but don't know for sure.

But they don't care, because the masses of air heads can't remember anything, and the political tools, and their gangsta wire pullers, know this.

Billy Tauzin, Democrat turned Republican/lobbyist quits (or was fired)his $2 million dollar job lobbying for the pharmaceuticals who spent over $100 million trying to get their way with drug costs in the healthcare bill. And no one in DC wants to address tort reform.
Get the picture? This proposed bill was never about helping the taxpayer.

So far, no politicians have recommended that government tackle the main cause of high health care costs. That would be GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS! Expiration dates on medicines is a prime example. Those expiration dates expire long before the medicines expire forcing health care providers to dispose of perfectly good medicines. That is extremely costly and wasteful.
Leave it to the Democrats to propose even more GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS. Let's get to the root of the problem... THE GOVERNMENT!

You are stupid and insane. Those dates on drugs are on them for GOOD FUCKING REASON.... because after those expiration dates, the drugs can and do become stronger or weaker than when they are in the time before expiration, or get NASTY side effects as a result of degradation of the drugs.

We do need more government regulations, number one being a PUBLIC HEALTH CARE OPTION! Seeing as how there is NO true competition in the health care industry today because of 'back-table' agreements, that is the only thing that will get the necessary competition back in the markets.

Tort reform is worthless... they got that in Texas... NOT ONE WHIT OF DIFFERENCE! You know why?(sing this with me) ALL THE CASES ARE LEGITIMATE! YES, ALMOST ALL ARE. YES, THE IDIOTS HAVE SAID THEY AREN'T, BUT THE FACT IS THAT THEY ARE!(sing in 2000 part harmony infinitely to get the message)

Tort reform is STUPIDITY, and it's time to say that it is.

Until our best and brightest come up with a bill
the people want...Do nothing....Maybe we can get
some one when we clean house that listen to reason
and common sense. We can only hope. What they
have done to us so far is a disgrace, they are
clueless clowns. WHO will admit they are partly
responsible for them having a seat in our Congress?
Don't everybody comment at one time!

Obama and the other small brain progressives are ruining our country like Greece. The Unions are our most dangerous enemy to freedom. The have morphed into something ugly and evil as in Europe. Big government programs like Health Care reform prove Obama's guilt.

You are partially right. Regarding Greece (or for that matter, Italy, Portugal and Spain)...they were too ambitious in their spending and as part of the EU, they can't create their own currency anymore. But read today's NY Times and you will see how Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase went about selling derivatives and swaps over there. Loads of money was made by Wall Street, which is all the more reason why cap and trade, which Obama wants, will benefit the Wall Streeters as they will be the sole agents of carbon credits on the market. Obama was and is a tool of the bankers and Wall Street, no matter what kind of spin he tries to put on the allegation.

"What's worse than Health care overhaul?"

What it disclosed about our political system, where personal power, wealth, and the good of the Party, all take precedent over the good of the people.

The Republicans are so clueless they are having their convention in Hawaii where there has been state-run health care for a while, and the Hawaiians love it. Has any mainstream news org. mentioned this? The Daily Show's reporter asked some Republicans at the convention why the Hawaiians shouldn't like their state-run healthcare system and all they could say was the Hawaiians were wrong. They sounded like badly programmed robots.lol

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/17/health/poli...

Since 1974, Hawaii has required all employers to provide relatively generous health care benefits to any employee who works 20 hours a week or more. If health care legislation passes in Congress, the rest of the country may barely catch up.

Lawmakers working on a national health care fix have much to learn from the past 35 years in Hawaii, President Obama’s native state.

Among the most important lessons is that even small steps to change the system can have lasting effects on health. Another is that, once benefits are entrenched, taking them away becomes almost impossible. There have not been any serious efforts in Hawaii to repeal the law, although cheating by employers may be on the rise.

But perhaps the most intriguing lesson from Hawaii has to do with costs. This is a state where regular milk sells for $8 a gallon, gasoline costs $3.60 a gallon and the median price of a home in 2008 was $624,000 — the second-highest in the nation. Despite this, Hawaii’s health insurance premiums are nearly tied with North Dakota for the lowest in the country, and Medicare costs per beneficiary are the nation’s lowest.

Hawaii residents live longer than people in the rest of the country, recent surveys have shown, and the state’s health care system may be one reason. In one example, Hawaii has the nation’s highest incidence of breast cancer but the lowest death rate from the disease.

So now you hate Greeks, just because you heard there was a controversy in Europe and decided that they are the perfect example of what you hate in America?

Pretty light weight thinking, seems to me. My guess is that you can't even name a single politician in Greece without looking it up and you don't know much more about the place.

You are like a monkey who sees a picture of a banana and starts yelling for food. You hear about a problem and immediately decide that it must be like what you heard the other day about the US.

As Gambol Rogers used to say, sorry is as sorry does.

Any arm of facist government forced on "We the people" that usurps the individual freedoms guaranteed us by the Constitution is bad.

Thats why it is America stupid. Don't like it leave and leave those of us who love our freedom alone!

You seem confused. You rant about fascists, although I'm betting you don't know what that means, and then fall into the old love-it-or-leave-it bit. I would think anyone who thought the US was fascist would like to leave.

What's worse than health care overhaul? If they had passed the health care package filled with pork and special favors.
