Where was the outcry when Middle Eastern Christians were being beheaded, burned alive, and killed in other barbaric ways?

Or are reporters getting nervous?

One death is a tragedy, massive murder is overlooked.

Hippo-critter-ism perhaps?

This is ridiculous

The Turks and Iranians both want to overthrow the Saudis and control the Mideast oil supply - the Iranians to benefit Russia and the Turks to keep Russia out

Here we have the diseased MSM trying to overthrow the Saudi regime the way Hearst and Pulitzer overthrew the Spanish in 1898

The MSM is not only a threat to America but to the world as well

Were you in a coma when that subject was covered exhaustively?

And these attempted comparisons, which those on the right seem to use so often as diversions, do not address the issue at hand.

The fact is that Trump is parroting the bullshit spewing from the king of Saudi Arabia, while showing not the slightest inclination toward caring about human life.

In the world nations deal with, and make deals with nations without stellar human rights in place.

Hundreds, perhaps thousands of Christians were butchered in the Middle East without much fanfare. People of all faiths are being slaughtered as we write in the world, period.

One journalist is killed, or murdered as the case may be, and since Trump is President it is an issue. I am not stating that any mans life being lost is not a loss to mankind, but dislike the political overtones.

In the end our nations ties to another country militarily, and financially will take center stage over any "sanctions" that may occur. Is this the first national rodeo?

We are not talking here about the usual machinations among nations. There are certain practicalities involved.

What we are dealing with here is a president consorting with the enemy. In one case he seems to be the victim of blackmail. In another, it seems he wants economic numbers that make him look good, at the expense of human life. These are not issues of practicality, but the callous behavior of someone pretending to have America's best interests in mind, while kowtowing to our enemies. This is the behavior of a traitor.

In your view traitor, I get it. The Saudi'es provide oil, and buy our weapons and are enemies of Iran, while attacking Yemen for whatever reason. There seems to be much religous killings due to differing sects of Islam that I can not begin to understand.
That being said there will probably be "sanctions" that will protect our nations ties with countries, looking tough, while maintaining business relations.
What was accomplished by destroying Libya's and Egypt's governments? Do we do the same to the Saudi's?

In the United States murderers are held accountable for their own personal actions, not the country of the United States. The same should hold true here.

You have mass murder almost daily in the States, mostly done by Christian right wing conservative loons. Where's the outrage?

Here's a little known truth. Saudi Arabia was involved in 9/11. But "let's make a deal".

It takes someone as callous as Donald Trump to treat this reporter's death with such indifference. How can we expect to earn the respect of the world when we stoop so low?

Since the majority of the 9/11 attackers were Saudi's ya really think it is a little known fact? Did'nt Trump call someone over there horseface?

Gosh when a friendly interrogation becomes deadly and the victim is reduced to pieces via bone saw, and God knows what, reminds me of Saddams Iraq.

What should be done in your opinion?
I have to consider a trip to a known area of rights abuses to be foolish at the least.

The same group who flew jets into the WTC also attacked the Grand Mosque in Mecca in the 80's - one of their group, Osama bin Laden, wanted to overthrow the Saudi government

Gee let's all get behind the MSM effort to overthrow another US ally so they won't do bad stuff then we can watch Turkey and Iran blow the hell out of the middle east on Nightly News

All the crackpots will love it

Why would Trump stand up for a Saudi traitor when he wouldn't even stand up for Dr. Ford.

First let me correct you. Although bin Laden was saudi, he was considered a black sheep member of the family. We blmed him for 9/11, but not Saudi Arabia itself. So you are wrong in believing we blamed them. Do you suppose if we had held them accountable for 9/11, we would still be doing business with them?
Saudi Arabia indeed played a role, but this was a little known fact.

It's hard to keep track of the juvenile name-calling by Trump, but I believe "horseface" was directed at Stormy Daniels.

As for what should be done, I think we should realize that Saudi Arabia needs us more than we need them, and act accordingly.
