"The weather is milder (but less predictable). The caribou are bigger and more plentiful (but the new summer heat makes for tough hunting). The growing season is longer. The fishing season is longer. The tourist season is longer. In southern Greenland (just below the Arctic Circle), residents say the warming climate has brought some pleasures."

The only real negatives mentioned, "are not known."

Claiming that a warmer world will be a disaster is today's "Big Lie"

But if lies are repeated often enough, some people will believe them without bothering to ask questions.
Alarmists only appear interested in the negative aspects of warming, completely ignoring the positives.
They haven't yet managed to realise that mankind can only emit a certain amount of pollution over a limited period of time before fossil fuel becomes too expensive to extract or outdated by future technology.
Basically, alarmists have little or no imagination.

So they say, but I think people are beginning to catch on.

They know what they are doing and it has nothing to do with climate or saving the planet.

Yet another story has emerged here at Topix on the same subject:
Greenland prospers due to global warming; more caribou, crops, and jobs

Alarmists may eventually get the message that warming isn't all bad.

The prospect of a warmer world climate ought to be cause to celebrate. But like the old joke about the monk reading the original manuscripts the liberals think we ought to be celibate when it comes to using natural resources.

It's old news, apparently:

Greenland just loves “global” warming:

In the past, locals had to settle for wilting fruit and vegetables flown in from Denmark, but the warmer weather means everything from lettuce to Chinese cabbage is growing in Greenland.

Greenland gambles on warmer, richer climate

As melting ice uncovers natural resources, Greenlanders vote to step closer to independence.
Greenland's residents have voted overwhelmingly to take a step closer to full independence. The move towards gaining the full status of 'country' has been spurred not just by feelings of national pride, many say, but by climate change.

LOL, you're very welcome if you don't mind being bored.
This particular discussion is currently limited to sceptics only, as no alarmists appear to have any of their usual dire warnings of doom for Greenlanders.
