Body of Woman Found Near Fairbanks Homeless Camp

A 56-year-old Fairbanks woman died early Thursday morning near a homeless camp north of the Johansen Expressway across from Home Depot.

Its hard to believe homeless people attempt to live outdoors in Fairbanks winters.
As I recall Fairbanks is "north slope cold", while Anchorage is warm by comparison.
Its sad. There must be someplace where people can sleep warmly, and she just chose not to go there.
