So the Republican plan for Soylent Green flew like a lead balloon. Who'da thunk it.

So the libs got their way and are now going to crow about it.

Maybe they should come up with a proposition instead of running their mouths. Then again they should have done that last fall when they were obligated and had congressional majorities. Instead of caring about the country and the citizens that they were elected to represent, they chose to use the federal budget, medicare, and social security in a game of political chicken.

Bitch all you want about how the poor, elderly, and downtrodden are going to be hurt by any entitlement reform. Think that these same folks aren't being hurt by the current rate of inflation, and won't be hurt when the whole federal budget bubble bursts, making the 2008 financial meltdown seem like child's play?

Bunch of hypocrites on both sides, and many Americans still support them. Well done.

The Republican plan would be more efficient.

Under O'bamacare, death panels would be needed to see which senior citizens die first.

Under "reorganized" Medicare, no panels are needed. When your "voucher" expires, you can die without convening any panel.

Bring the tax schedule back from the Clinton era, and the problem is solved.
