Obama shoulda thought of that when he focused his entire political party on Unconstitutional Health Care legislation.

Now Obama is the ONLY president to have NEGATIVE JOBS Numbers in US History. How Pathetic!

What drives Obama to Kill Jobs? You'd be surprised...

Democrats outside the West Wing and Chicago-based campaign say the politics were clear: With the exceptions of the grousing unions (who will have no choice but to support him in 2012), the party’s donor base, environmental advocates down to their hybrid SUVs oppose the pipeline.

In fact, a top Democratic fundraiser told POLITICO that the two most frequent questions he heard from wealthy would-be contributors were “about Keystone and gay marriage.”

Works do not see the issue as a win for the president.

Indeed, some union officials weren’t happy. Terry O’Sullivan, general president of the Laborers’ International Union of North America, called Obama’s decision “politics at its worst.”

“Once again, the president has sided with environmentalists instead of blue-collar construction workers — even though environmental concerns were more than adequately addressed,” he said.“Blue-collar construction workers across the U.S. will not forget this.”

Jobless not amused by Obama's 'shovel-ready' joke

By Josiah Ryan
06/15/11

Unemployed Americans do not find a joke President Obama cracked about the economy earlier this week to be funny, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said from the Senate floor on Wednesday.

“He joked about the wildly mistaken predictions he and others at the White House made a couple of years back about the job-creating potential of the stimulus,” said McConnell.“Well, I don't think the 14 million Americans who are looking for jobs right now find any of this very funny.”

McConnell was referring to a crack Obama made earlier in the week in which he noted that some construction projects in the 2009 stimulus bill that were supposed to begin immediately have yet to materialize.

"Shovel-ready was not as shovel-ready as we expected," said Obama, to laughter.

What a Jerk!

Sure. All politics aside. How about science and facts?

Do you have a clue how far thick crude oil could seep into an aquifer hundreds/thousands of feet below? What do the studies say?

How many spills has the current pip line into Illinois produced? Has any of it gotten into the water supply? Isn't that water processed for impurities anyway?

Hmmmmmmmmm.

Obama Fact on Jobs:

8,000,000 jobs were lost by the time Bush slithered out of the White House.

Obama has had continuous job creation during his presidency,
but because the Republicans in Congress have been virtually 100% in opposition to job creation, the economy has had a very difficult time growing and that has affected state economies
from coast to coast. States, counties, cities and towns have been laying off teachers, police, fire fighters, social service people,
state and city employees of all kinds and the net result result is
nearly as many public jobs losses as jobs created in the private
sector.

Who is to blame? The effing Republicans!

It's hilarious that they have to start from inauguration day. Economic policies take years to realize. It's not a light switch you just flick off and on and see results in seconds. The fact that they have to start counting at inauguration day shows that they too know the job losses in Obama's first years are attributable to policies of the previous administration.

the amount of US jobs claimed is questionable, but beside the point.

why doesn't the GOP just stop putting it forward for presidential approval, then Romney can say that Obama is a job killer, and get elected.
I'm sure the people that are currently being sued by TransCanada for eminent domain rights wont make a real difference in November.

Giving big oil more production to sell overseas does not help to introduce the competition needed to bring oil gas prices down.

The water-permeated thickness of the Ogallala Formation ranges from a few feet to more than 1000 feet (300 m) and is generally greater in the northern plains.[4] The depth of the water below the surface of the land ranges from almost 400 feet (122 m) in parts of the north to between 100 to 200 feet (30 to 61 m) throughout much of the south. The water decontamination process is far different than just a typical treatment and far more expensive, that's money which will come from nowhere, right? You may not know this but there is a significant clean up going on now in S/E Nebraska, so don't act like it doesn't happen. All we ask for is common sense.

The Amount of Jobs could go up or down but in either case, they are ALL Privately Funded and not some new Obama bail out or Solyndra Pay for Campaign Play scandal.

The gop is trying to persuade the idiot obama to see the obvious Jobs gift in the pipeline.

Image in US President ignoring the energy supply because his "Big-Money" Campaign Donors demanded he dance for them! It's a reality. Obama is a fool.
