At least with a second term there's no need too measure the drapes, unless the Obamas decide to buy new drapes anyway....

Dems Said to End Convention $15 Million Short... Yep, Short of Viewers, Short of Cash, Short of Ethics, Short of Rain Storms, Short of God and Short Of Voters.

8.1% unemployment is a lie...It is9.1% counting the 368,000 that dropped out.....14.7% counting all under employeed...If Obama can just get a million more to quit looking.........he can proclaim his 7% the week befoe election.........without providing one job...

What a hoot, they are planning...they haven't put a plan on the table the first four years.......he just proposes in his speechs. Obama hasn't met with his big jobs council or listened to their recemendations since JANUARY.......showing he has no intentions of providing jobs or improving the economy.......I guess you can say Obama is a BIG SUCCESS......at bringing down the American Economy........his goal all along.

Agreed!

Obama can't give us DETAILS on his BUDGET, MEDICARE plans, MEDICAID plans, Social Security plans but he's planning for a second term.

We ALL know Michelle is planning her vacations.

Wonder where she'll be vacationing?

She had to miss her summer vacation (though Malia Obama took 25 secret service agents on HER Spring Break vacation. Couldn't she just stay IN America and do some community service? Apparently, Malia didn't get the message about doing SOMETHING for your country, community. She taken her mother's role modeling and vacations on the taxpayer dime.

NO to OWEbama
NO in NOvember
ALL Democrat senators need to be voted OUT of office.
And Obama needs to be OUSTED or ObamaCare is here to stay.

It's up to YOU!

Obama's second term plan is to double down on what didn't work in the first term

Nothing new just lowered expectations in each catergory.

It like roulette with all your money. Put your bet all on Red. If Red didn't come in borrow double the amount from anybody and double down again on Red.

What a way to run the gov't.

Here's to NO second term! Just FYI;

The Quote of the Decade:

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America 's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, "the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

GM Goes From Bad to Worse Despite Obama Bailout

By Michael Barone
August 23, 2012

Obama talks about the auto bailout frequently, since it's one of the few things in his record that gets positive responses in the polls. But he's probably wise to avoid probing questions, since the GM bailout is not at all the success he claims.

GM has been selling cars in the U.S. at deep discount and, while it's making money in China -- and is outsourcing operations there and elsewhere -- it's bleeding losses in Europe. It's spending billions to ditch its Opel brand there in favor of Chevrolet, including $559 million to put the Chevy logo on Manchester United soccer team uniforms -- and just fired the marketing exec who cut that deal.

It's time to Fire Obama.

Hiring Slows in U.S., Putting Pressure on Obama and Fed

New York Times
By NELSON D. SCHWARTZ
Published: September 7, 2012

The nation’s employers eased up on hiring in August, making it clear that the economy was stuck in low gear.

The pace of job creation, disclosed in government figures released on Friday, fell far short of the stronger showing at the start of the year. It presents a fresh challenge to President Obama just two months before the election. It also provides more ammunition for Republicans And a Plurality of Americans, who say the country needs a new economic course.

While the weak report reverberated on the campaign trail, traders and economists immediately focused on the Federal Reserve, betting increasingly that its policy makers will take new action to stimulate the economy when they meet next week.

The nation added 96,000 jobs in August, compared with a revised figure of 141,000 in July and well below the 125,000 level economists had expected. Over the last six months, job growth has averaged 97,000 a month, typically not enough to absorb new entrants to the labor force, let alone cut the unemployment rate unless people leave the work force altogether.

“This is one of those reports that as you dig deeper, it looks less friendly,” said Ethan Harris, chief United States economist at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.“The improvement in the rate was purely due to people who gave up looking for jobs.”

For August, the jobless rate did fall to 8.1 percent from 8.3 percent in July, but that was largely because more people left the work force entirely. The government report showed that the overall labor force dropped by 368,000 workers in August. The portion of the population in the labor force fell to 63.5 percent, the lowest level since September 1981.

“Politically, you can spin the drop in the rate as a positive, but it’s a sign of weakness,” Mr. Harris said.“The economy is slowing down and it wasn’t very robust to begin with.”

PBS Interviews after the Obama Convention debacle

Interviewer:
You all remained undecided this time last week. Did you hear anything from President Obama last night that helped you make up your mind?

MARTHA PASCHAL, undecided voter:
I didn't feel as though there was much substance that was given in his speech.

I thought there was a lot of emotion and, you know, rallying the base, but not much in the way of policy that was fleshed out.

THOMAS WILSON, undecided voter:
I was disappointed that he didn't have more plans for the next four years, specific legislation, or other proposals.

When you have people like Dana Milbank writing the eulogy for Obama's second term, you know he needs to call the moving company. No one, even Democrats, liked his speech Thursday. He can try to steal it like ACORN did in 2008, but even his Union members are angry now. You can't give liberals enough, so when your gifts fall short of their demands they turn on you. I must say it is entertaining to watch.
