1 Hey Rick...here's an article quote I found by Fox News. So what do you think his point was?...Interesting, eh? Sound familiar? "The Army psychiatrist suspected of being the lone gunman in a horrific massacre at Fort Hood in Texas took a "very calm and measured approach" to carrying out the mass shooting, the commanding general said Friday. Survivors of the rampage that killed 13 and wounded 30 said the suspect, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, shouted "Allahu Akbar!" — "God is great!" in Arabic — before opening fire, base commander Lt. Gen. Robert Cone said." |

1 Apparently Israel is not the only one who has to deal with bigotry and terrorism in all it's shades of grey...sometimes not so shaded, eh? Ugly comes home to roost, and then some...How tragic and twisted. "Federal law enforcement officials told The Associated Press that Hasan had come to their attention at least six months ago because of Internet postings that discussed suicide bombings. The officials said they are still trying to confirm that he was the author. One of the Web postings that authorities reviewed is a blog that equates a suicide bomber to a soldier throwing himself on a grenade to save the lives of his comrades. "To say that this soldier committed suicide is inappropriate. Its more appropriate to say he is a brave hero that sacrificed his life for a more noble cause," the Internet posting reads. "Scholars have paralled (sic) this to suicide bombers whose intention, by sacrificing their lives, is to help save Muslims by killing enemy soldiers." |

1 The further I read, the worse it seems to get...here's some more quotes about the philosophy behind it and the tragedy, just simply horrific. I wonder how the issue had survived for so long without prior notice/confrontation and disciplinary action? It must have paralleled some form of "We are so tolerant of all beliefs and positions" type of stuff. That only goes just so far, though... "Major Nidal Malik Hasan, who allegedly killed 11 people before being shot and wounded by police at Fort Hood, had said Muslims should "rise up" and attack Americans in retaliation for the US war in Iraq, a former army colleague said." "He was making outlandish comments condemning our foreign policy and claimed Muslims had the right to rise up and attack Americans," Col Lee told Fox News." "He said Muslims should stand up and fight the aggressor and that we should not be in the war in the first place." He said that Maj Hasan said he was "happy" when a US soldier was killed in an attack on a military recruitment centre in Arkansas in June. An American convert to Islam was accused of the shootings." "Col Lee alleged that other officers had told him that Maj Hasan had said "maybe people should strap bombs on themselves and go to Time Square" in New York." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/nor... |

1 It's so very disturbing that these people can infiltrate our society, play the part of good American, and then attack when the time is right. But this guy gave off clues as to his intentions. I'm shocked the military didn't act to strip this guy of his commission. |

1 Really. Why did the military letting this p_ssy council our brave men and women who have served in combat? Especially after viocing his traiterous opinion on the war. He's not worthy of speaking to them except to ask if they need their bedpan changed. If he wanted out, let him out but don't let him take that taxpayer paid for degree. There were many other ways than this to get out of the military, this man is a coward, as most muslim men I have had the misfortune to meet are. |

1 Twin Towers Burning, you're so very right. Whether or not others agree with his or our personal perspectives is beside the point. The fact is, his personal beliefs and convictions were at odds with his sworn duty to our country...and, we are at war with those whom he supports/supported. In my book, that makes him a traitor to his sworn oath and duty, regardless of his personal convictions. His actions obviously finalized/confirmed his beliefs. The fact that this information was known and noted/monitored for those very beliefs and convictions (what was it...6 months or so prior to his actions at Fort Hood?) actually holds our own government up for scrutiny as to why they took no proactive action to head things off before anything like this could happen to begin with. It leaves me scratching my head as to what the reasons were for taking no action at all, and why allowing such overriding issues to continue was not seen as potentially disastrous. If it sounds like I am confused, I guess it's because I am??? Anyways...here's the latest compilation of quotes (and it's funny that I get nailed with "nuts, spam, clueless" types of icons/observations by others for my prior posts in this article, when all I did was to quote official news sources...ie, the official data, lacking my personal issues for the most part). So what are they objecting to? The news media's information? Sorry dudes, not me this time. If you have a problem, better look at who caused the news to begin with and the whole Jihad concept. What's the saying? Don't shoot the messenger. Quotes on next post... |

1 Prior post continued with posted quotes: http://www.newsmax.com/insidecover/us_fort_ho... http://www.newsmax.com/insidecover/us_fort_ho... http://www.newsmax.com/frank_gaffney/Fort_Hoo... >>>"The base commander at Fort Hood says soldiers who witnessed a shooting rampage that left 13 people dead reported that the gunman shouted "Allah Akbar!" before opening fire at the Texas post. Lt. Gen. Robert Cone told NBC's "Today" show on Friday that suspected shooter, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, made the comment, which is Arabic for "God is great!" before the rampage Thursday that also left 30 people wounded."<<< >>>"Perhaps the president publicly handled this attack as he did because he was unsettled by the fact that the alleged shooter is a devout Muslim, Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, who evidently adheres to the theo-political-legal program authoritative Islam calls “Shariah.” Now, Shariah requires its adherents to engage in jihad — the imposition of Islam, by force wherever possible. This reality was characteristically obscured by Nihad Awad, executive director of the Council on American Islamic Relations, a Muslim Brotherhood front and unindicted co-conspirator in a terrorism financing conspiracy. During a news conference, he preposterously declared:“No political or religious ideology could ever justify or excuse such wanton and indiscriminate violence.” Actually, Shariah not only justifies such violence but also demands it. To cite but one example of the requirement for individual Muslims to wage jihad, Shariah expert Andrew Bostom observes that the influential Ottoman cleric, Sheikh Shawish, wrote in 1915: “To whoever kills even one single infidel of those who rule over Islamic lands, either secretly or openly, there is a reward like a reward from all the living ones of the Islamic world. And let every individual of the Muslims in whatever place they may be, take upon him an oath to kill at least three of four of the ruling infidels, enemies of Allah, and enemies of the religion. He must take upon him this oath before Allah Most High, expecting his reward from Allah alone, and let the Muslim be confident, if there be to him no other good deed than this, nevertheless he will prosper in the day of judgment and we ask the Most High to extend the People of the Faith by the favor of their Lord.” In short, the Fort Hood “outburst of violence”(to use the president’s formulation), looks like the first successful incident of jihadist mass murder in America since 9/11. This could not be a message happily conveyed by a chief executive committed to “outreach to the Muslim world”.<<< >>>"On a form filled out by those seeking spouses through a program at the mosque, Hasan listed his birthplace as Arlington, Va., but his nationality as Palestinian, Khan said. "I don't know why he listed Palestinian," Khan said, "He was not born in Palestine." Nothing stood out about Hasan as radical or extremist, Khan said."<<< >>>"His name appears on radical Internet postings. A fellow officer says he fought his deployment to Iraq and argued with soldiers who supported U.S. wars. He required counseling as a medical student because of problems with patients. There are many unknowns about Nidal Malik Hasan, the man authorities say is responsible for the worst mass killing on a U.S. military base. Most of all, his motive."<<< |
