Let the GOP threaten a fillibuster. It'll never happen. It's political suicide for their party. People will not tolerate any politician lying on a cot while people are standing in the unemployment lines. It'll backfire on them. All the old guard and their tactics will be voted out, regardless of party. They have a fillibuster majority, but it's the worst time in history, politically, to use it. People are are theirs wits end with both parties.

so now a federal regulator over state commissioners who necessarily do not regulate until after the fact of rate hikes. some states do and some don't. how about rate hikes are reviewed before the rate hikes? another problem is medicines costs to insurers, so capping insurers makes no sense. quit trying to control with buckshot measures and simply open up competition without states, commissioners, and regulations. it wilkl take care of its self and all these handouts to governors will stop. politics and markets do not mix. health care costs has already shown us this. unions and politicions have allowed these costs to get out of control. adding to this creates more problems.

I say cut out the healthcare coverage companies. They are like the middle man. They aren't doctors or nurses. They know nothing about healthcare, they merely take the money, and then they get the freedom to decide who gets healthcare or operations. Many times they deny both. Who the hell are they anyways? Doctors should be deciding who gets operations. We use to have the guy at the gas punps pumping the gas, now he is cut out of the equasion. We need to do the same with the healthcare coverage companies also. Our country will save gazillions. BTW, WHERE'S THE PUBLIC OPTION?

Can't Obama stand up and fight for anything the PEOPLE want? You know, we supported and donated to help him become President, and he can't show us, the people, the same courtesy. I think I'll stay quiet on election day like Obama. How's that for fairness and equality????????
