Anyone who knows me would know that I think you come across as another member of the political sheep society, you rant on how wonderful and what a good job Amy is doing, my question is a very simple one and one I am sure you will understand. WHAT HAS SHE DONE. It would appear she is only politics as usual.
How you came away with "Doing a great job" from my post escapes me. I thought I communicated that Amy wasn't on Par with the Nancy Pelosi's and Harry Ried's and that I had a modicum of respect for her even though she is a democrat.

I'm about as ferverently opposed to the DFL agenda as anyone you will ever meet.

That said, I call'em like I see'em and I simply don't see Amy as a far left ideolog. You do make a good point, however, that she hasn't accomplished much as I can't think of a single thing that has her name on it whether it be a good or bad "something".

Joe, I think she is just better at hiding her DFLibtardness.
You may well be right. It's hard for the average Joe to follow the nuts/bolts of any senator and Amy has been a quiet one which does make her less of a target and harder to follow. Of course, the Franken's of the world are quite obvious as they were their psedo socialistic principles on thier sleeve. They don't have to do anything to demonstrate their records and we know full well what to expect of anything they get their hands into.

You know why you think that? Because unlike most left-wing nutcases, she always has a smile on her face.

Of course, it's the same smile you see on the faces of mental defectives, but it's a smile nonetheless.

To each their own, Bob. Our politics are actually very similar. Maybe I'm ulturistic or mis-guided in this respect, however, I've never agreed with generalizations and prefer to judge each official on their merits regardless of party affiliation.

Admittingly that philosophy may make myself vulnerable to being mis-lead by some who are exceedingly good at slight of hand. I also recognize that officials such as Amy who are more subdued with their PR approach and blend into the background are the easiest to mis-judge. Based on the positions that she has stated on the record for the more significant legislation such as Health Care, I still tend to see her as more of a moderate Democrat than that of left wing nut job. I'm all ear's if anyone can point out some specific left wing nut job like actions that I might be missing. I would also point out that the GOP would have to put up a pretty bad candidate for me to vote for Amy (I voted for Kline over Amy in 06 if that's any indication).

All of that said, I simply don't have the outrage for Amy that I do for Harry and Nancy unless someone can't point out something that I'm missing.

Please don't call them mental defectives - they are Democrat smiles as they stick their hand in your pocket and rip out whatever they find. Just in case - always make sure you don't have a hole in your pocket!

Amy (I hate my Dad but I continue to be willing to use his last name to get re-elected Klobuchar) went to Agghanistan huh?

Building that old foreign policy resume I guess!

Watch our Senator Amy Klobuchar in the future. Our president Obama will be looking for a new running mate in 2012 and Senator Kloubchar may just be that person. GO AMY...in fact I'm thinking of changing my handle to Amy. But have so much loyalty to Nancy for all the wonderful things she has done so I won't change my handle.
