This is awesome, I applied to the USCGA a few years ago and the process was way too much. Just reading this I'm proud of her. Good luck and God speed!

I had the pleasure of interviewing this remarkable young lady for Rosa DeLauro. While Kevin Liddy helped with the process, she was on her own for the interview and she aced it.My wife and I were both Navy JAG. My daughter is Navy JAG in Japan and our son graduates from the Aaademy in May. So when i say that it is exciting to welcome this young woman to the family I mean it at several levels, Alex is as fine a young lady as you will meet and the daughter anyone would want. All the best Alex.

Annapolis, WOW!- Congratulations once again! You make us very, very proud.
I am fortunate enough to be Alex neighbor that is how I had the opportunity to meet this outstanding young woman. Whenever we come across on the street the conversation turns to the same topic: Airplanes! Alex, I knew then and I know now that you will be an Aviator. No one can deny it, it is in your blood and for you the sky is not the limit.

Alex now is in her 3rd year in the Naval Academy and she is now in the honors program of the Political Sciences Mayor. She wants to be commissioned as a Navy Pilot and she passed the requirements with honors. She will know this next fall. In the meantime this summer she will be working in the Admiral of the Navy in Washington
DC and flying Jets in a Naval Base. She is so happy and honored to be able to prepare to defend her country she says... As her mother I am so proud and pray for her every night...
