Bernanke's Quantitative Easing, along with Obama's multiple stim programs have led to an inflationary cycle. This boosts costs and, when people start getting raises again, pushes substantial numbers of wage earners into higher tax brackets. Earn more money, get shafted twice.

Look, if the Federal Reserve wants to do QE3, the people, the Congress, the President, none of them can stop it. It will be the decision of the Fed.

The Federal Reserve is a private bank that controls the issuance of our money. We have no say.

This is exactly what Thomas Jefferson warned us about. He said, "I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

FICO controls who gets loans and credit, not the Federal Reserve. Everyone's FICO scores have gone down regardless of whether they pay their bills or not. Until that changes, this recession will never end.

Amen, brother! It's interesting that the only state to have weathered this financial tsunami was North Dakota, with it's very own government-run State bank to keep their government, schools, and other infrastructure running.

But we can't have that in the rest of the USA.....that would be socialism....even if it does work so darned well.

Believe it or not, the State of CA and the governor Brown have a bill on his desk for signing. Passed by both sides of the State Legislature to create a state bank for CA modeled after the one in North Dakota.

Lets see if he actually signs it.
