What ?

Thomas Jefferson would not be proud of the fine Architecture in our trailers ?

Send kids to school in a tin can.

Eliminating the trailers is a great goal, but someone needs to tell the school administration and the school board that we are not out of this recession yet. There simply is no money for eliminating the trailers and constructing a lot of new schools or building additions.

Have any of you seen the trailers?(Actually I hate that name because it has so many negative connotations.) The ones that I have been in are very efficient, carpeted, have good natural lighting from multiple windows, and are more modern than many of the old permanent classrooms.

Unless there is some urgent need such as a leaky roof, we should continue using them as long as possible. Why throw them away when they are still functional?

If they are good enough to live in, they are more than good enough to go to school in! No doubt it is the spoiled and overpampered teachers who think they are too good for trailers.

So what exactly did one of your teachers do to you to warrant such venomous hatred of teachers? Have you ever set foot in a school since you left?
