How about suspending aid to Israel there Johnny? Don't ya know it's unconstitutional for this nation to give military aid to a nation with nuclear weapons? Did you know that Israel is in direct violation of the nuclear non proliferation treaty? Some might suggest espionage in that some people would steal our secrets and sell them to other nations. Why does Israel need over 300 nukes anyway? What about Nutanyahoo using 'white phospherus in Gaza a few years back? It is they, through us, that has made this world a dangerous place that one day may be uninhabitable for all.

I've read the Constitution.

Don't recall seeing anything in it about nuclear weapons.

Perhaps you can enlighten us all and cite the Article.

Cite the Supreme Court ruling.

Simply because YOU think it is unconstitutional doesn't make it so.

Sure it does. Just like I believe that the govt should NEVER place children in a home with a pair of gay men to somehow suggest a normal and balanced structure for parenthood. This decision denies, and in fact punishes a child by not providing him or her the basic human right to be endowed with a female mother during the childs most indelible years of their lives.
How does this have anything to do with my other assertion you might ask. Well, it just goes to show you who virtually is running and ruining this nation morally, physically, spiritually, and financially. Take a guess who my friend.
So there are two things that I believe are and should be unconstitutional.
Unfortunately, the Supreme Court disagrees.

The Constitution says nothing about aid to countries with nuclear weapons. If it did, then we would have to get our money back from the UK, France, India and Pakistan. Also, Israel is not a party to the treaty. Just like the US is not a party to the Kyoto Pact.
Despite all this, I am IN FAVOR of cutting US aid to Israel, but the cut should be across the board -- cut aid to all countries. The US has given much more to Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, etc. Our government just puts it in the defense budget and doesn't call it "aid."

Cutting off aid to the Egyptian military is an asinine puerile move.

The U.S. should commend the Egyptian Military for attempting to separate church from state.

You absolutely cannot have 'Democratic' government by religion.

It is an absurd non sequitur.

I agree that McCain is an idiot, however, the past 40 years have plainly demonstrated that buying friendly governments abroad does not work.

Commend them all you want. Do it with our own dime.

We've thrown away trillions on governments that despise us. That money could have been put to much better use here at home, solving our own problems.

No body but YOU said anything about "buying friendly governments".

The real need is to spread REAL DEMOCRACY so that this world is not filled with what it's filled with today.

Bringing DEMOCRACY to these fanatically run Theocracies and Hate-ocracies and bllsht communist socialist Fl-ocracies is a brilliant stroke of genius, but, in the wrong hands, the control of this movement can wreak even greater havoc and just create even NASTIER THEOCRACIES and socialist wankers like YOU.

However, since the situation is already beyond desperate, it is NOT a time to refrain from active involvement.

We must act as if our lives depended on it.

THEY DO!

I'm just saying that we should put OUR best minds on it.

We should NEVER scuttle or even neglect the movements for DEMOCRACY.

We absolutely must, however, ensure that it is perfectly understood and appreciated, that is, what TRUE DEMOCRACY really is, and that ISN'T any form of theocracy, be it religious or socialist.

If they were friendly, we wouldn't have to "buy" them, anyway.

Duly noted, but that's NOT what this article is about.

It's about pushing for REAL DEMOCRACY, this time.

If the U.S. had started off without the separation of church from state, it would most certainly have ended quickly in a bloody self implosion, or would have endured miserably, like the Soviet Union for a century, and would probably have caused havoc and war with and amongst many other nations.

Your 'solution' is certainly NO SOLUTION AT ALL.

It's just mindless yammering.

Perhaps if Obama hadn't given support to the Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt wouldn't be in the position it is now.

Tell me more about supporting "real democracy."

The US continued its support of Egypt, not the Muslim Brotherhood...
