we have repeated this message over and over again for the last 15+ years.

Yawn~Let me see if I can comment before my warm milk.kicks in and I go nite/nite. Heheh..
Obama can stall and pretend to full the citizens all he wants. But as the American people continue to lose jobs, homes, etc. this Bill still will be acceptable to the American people.

He sees the writing on the wall and is trying to save face with those he promised to gift with the ability to remain here legally. Americans are speaking out and some of their reps are actually listening because they want to keep their jobs, as that's the only thing they know how to do. Enforce the laws, seal the border and eliminate birthright citizenshop.

Democrats fiscally irresponsible attitude is one of the main reasons California, the state with the most, is all but bankrupt and begging for the federal government to bail them out. By the way, where were you born?

King not confident conservatives can “prevent…perpetual amnesty”
http://www.radioiowa.com/2013/07/10/king-not-...
One alternative under consideration in the House is for Republicans to pass a series of bills related to different parts of the immigration debate — like a bill offering citizenship to young adults who were brought into the country illegally, when they were children. King not only opposes a single,“comprehensive” immigration reform bill, but he opposes any effort from his fellow Republicans to make changes in any federal immigration policies.

Sponsor the parents? That is hilarious. In order to sponsor the parents the kids will have to wait until they are 21 years old. Then the parents have to return home to apply for their visas.

Unfortunately US law penalizes undocumented people who return home so they will face a 10 year bar before they can apply for the visa and must remain in their country the entire time.

Depending on the age of the child this "loophole" could take 31 years to exploit with at least ten years spent outside of the US. Not much of a loophole if you think about it.
