A Czarist general seized Mongolia from Nationalist China in the Russian Civil War.

The Red Army seized it from the Czarist general not long after.

Mongolia was a Russian state occupied by the Russian army and Stalin purged 30,000 Mongolian nationalists.

When the Soviet Union collapsed of rot it declared independence - but it was still stolen from China by Russia and China wants it back.

Hawaii was briefly seized by France and Britain and targeted by Japan.
The US annexed it to keep others out. The Hawaiians can have it back and it's fine with me.

Puerto Rico is not a US state - they can become independent any time the majority vote for it - fine with me too.

Phillipines? The Germans tried to seize it immediately after the Spanish defeat. There were no US "colonies" and Japan wanted the islands. It was a US protectorate until it became independent in 1945.

Guam? Part of the Phillipines - we kept it first to keep the Germans out, then Japan - who grabbed the other islands like Saipan and enslaved the Chamorro natives.

American Samoa? We couldn't get rid of them if we tried.

The other islands are unoccupied atolls.

Guantanamo? We leased that for 100 years - and as long as that Russian flunky lunatic runs Cuba we'll keep it too.

We gave back the best thing in the western hemisphere - the Panama Canal - as agreed.

We aren't Russian land thieves.

You American flunky likes to argue about nothing.
Compared to the US footprint, Russian influence has been quite mild.
Mongolia has never been part of Russia. I has always been in independent country.
But the American flunky has to turn to the last 150 years at least to placate Russia, when US vicious foreign policy is very much actual.
Maybe the American flunky could explain how the US came to possess Hawai, or islands in the Pacific, or even Guantanamo or how they colonised the Philippines for so long, or Puerto Rico?
The US did not come to possess Hawaii::

In March 1959, the U.S. government approved statehood for Hawaii, and in June the Hawaiian people voted by a wide majority to accept admittance into the United States. Two months later, Hawaii officially became the 50th state.

As for Puerto Rico ::

colonization was a fact and all countries in the world expanded and survived by adding to their own country and in time changes happened, independance, codependance, wars and many shifts to territories ALL over the world giving us the world map we have today, so when people argue about how the US did this and that, they forget that their home countries do the same thing, it is just natural.

The USA has it's fair share of mistakes, especially in the Balkans, but the USA saved the world from Germany twice and from communism. America's biggest mistake of the 20th century was destroying Serbia, and this will haunt America in the future, when Germany takes command of the EU and Nato.
