Yes, Finland signed an alliance with Nazi Germany after Barbarossa.
Mannerheim met Hitler.
Finland received military help from Germany, and many Finns joined the SS as well.

Finland was an ally of Nazi Germany !!!

NATO isn't America?

NATO is a creation of America to pursue US foreign policy.

NATO is no more than another branch of the Pentagon.

Maybe you have never heard of buffer zone?
The US want a buffer zone; why can't Russia have the same security?

You can't be serious? America is closer to Russia than most of west Europe. a mere 52 miles close.

NATO was created in response to the soviets attempt to starve the city of Berlin and the western allied soldiers that were garrisoned there. It stands as the greatest example of Russian cruelty and the west's greatest benevolence when America and Britain conducted the greatest logistical feat in the world at that time with the Berlin Airlift.

If Russia hadn't tried to starve a city and force the allied garrison from the city then there wouldn't have been the need for NATO.

Russian cruelty created NATO not America.

But then again you live with the logic that Russia is trying to gain more "distance" from NATO by stealing land that moves their border closer to NATO.

In other related rio logic, If you are on fire you must leap into a lake of lava to put out the flames.

The Berlin blockade was in response to the allies refusing to leave Germany demilitarised as was the previous undertaking.
The USA refused to withdraw from Germany and told their allies to stay put also.
That was against the promise made at the Potsdam Conference that Germany would be completely demilitarised, reunified and returned to civilian power.
This worked in Austria but didn't happen for Germany.
Those are the real causes of the Berlin blockade.

NATO was already planned and came mysteriously at the same time.

The answer to NATO, the Warsaw Pact, only came in 1955, 7 years later !!!

It was later revealed that the US intended to stay in Germany, just like they intended to occupy Japan.

The US benefit from natural buffer zones; the Pacific and the Atlantic Oceans.
Neither Mexico, nor Washington are considered as a threat.

But the US were worried when Cuba could harbour missiles, seen as a threat to its security.

Don't you know how to Google?

The period of peace following the Winter War was widely regarded in Finland as temporary, even when peace was announced in March 1940. A period of frantic diplomatic efforts and rearmament followed. The Soviet Union kept up intense pressure on Finland, thereby hastening the Finnish efforts to improve the security of the country.
Defensive arrangements were attempted with Sweden and Great Britain, but the political and military situation in the context of the Second World War rendered these efforts fruitless. Finland then turned to Nazi Germany for military aid. As the German offensive against the Soviet Union (Operation Barbarossa) approached, the cooperation between the two countries intensified. German troops arrived in Finland and took up positions, mostly in Lapland.
Operation Barbarossa began on 22 June 1941. On 25 June the Soviet Union launched a massive pre-emptive air raid against Finnish cities, after which Finland declared war and also allowed German troops stationed in Finland to begin offensive warfare. The resulting war was to be called the Continuation War.
The worsening situation in 1944 had led to Finnish president Risto Ryti giving Germany his personal guarantee that Finland would not negotiate peace with the Soviet Union for as long as he was the president. In exchange Germany delivered weapons to the Finns.

Just try "Finland-Germany Alliance".

The Molotov-Ribentrop Pact wasn't a treaty, but a pact of non-aggression.

Also, Russia signed nothing.

Molotov was the Foreign Minister of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, know in the West as the Soviet Union.

The Ryti-Ribbentrop Ageement?

That's your "alliance" that Finland "signed"?

That ended when Ryti left office a few months later, and Finland made a separate peace with Russia.

It was a LETTER Ryti sent to Hitler and bound no one other than Ryti himself - it bore no force of law in Finland.

Only the Finnish Parliament had any authority to make any alliance.

"after Barbarossa"?

Yeah - THREE YEARS after Barbarossa - when Germany had already delivered the weapons.

Finland never signed any alliance with Nazi Germany, rio.

And of course Russia didn't sign a "treaty" with Germany - just a "pact".
