Bankers and rich guys control Washington, therefore there'll be no real reform.

FDR fought these people and won some victories, but he was one of them and had the people behind him, thanks to the Depression. No one has that much leverage now.

The two are so intertwined (investment banks and commercial banks), I absolutely agree.

If they had taken about out 500 of the gangsters and banksters on Wall Street, whose greed, lawlessness
and recklessness got our economy into such a mess
and shot the bastards there wouldn't be such
a likely chance that they will repeat their
criminality.

But since most of them are still calling the shots
and never had to atone for their gangsterism,
they will no doubt do it again.

Like Mitt Romney, they are nothing but vultures
and have no conscience when it comes to robbery.
How many retirement funds did they liquidate?

Hmmm, it is looking like the left, the right and the middle all agree the bankers are slime and stealing from the public.

Ok, Let's do something. I doubt either major party will lift a finger to help.

If our economic laws had teeth (up to and including the death penalty) maybe wall street sociopaths would think twice about looting our economy again!

I don't support the death penalty, but if the laws had THAT many teeth, there'd be a lot of CEOs and top management on death row thanks to the 2008 meltdown.:)
