If just because they say it is constitutional then, Slavery and the Dred Scott law is also constitutional. Where can I buy one.
Nope, the bill is primarily regulatory in nature, and it DID originate in the House- HB 3590. That's why the federal court in DC dismissed the origination lawsuit.

Slavery was made unconstitutional by the 13th amendment.
The Dred Scott precedent was nullified by the same amendment.

Welcome to the 21st century.

If you want to make Obamacare unconstitutional, then pass a constitutional amendment banning it. If there is as much opposition to the ACA as you Teabaggers keep claiming, then it should be no problem at all for you to do so.

Correct.
Just because it's constitutional under the taxing authority of Congress doesn't mean it is necessarily a tax.
Now you're getting it.
Just as requiring you to FILE a tax return is constitutional under the taxing authority of Congress doesn't mean filing a tax return in and of itself is a tax.
Just as requiring you to disclose all your income is constitutional under the taxing authority of Congress doesn't mean that disclosure is a tax.
Paying a fine for failure to purchase healthcare insurance is a penalty which can be constitutionally imposed under the taxing authority of Congress, but it's not a tax.
OMG, Obama has done it!! He has convinced you that a tax ISN'T a tax! Is it possible to convince you his style of governance ISN'T working? Or are you that far gone??

Is having to file a tax return a tax?

Not my problem you can't understand the difference between "taxing authority" and a "tax".

Either way, it's never getting repealed.

I am not a teabagger in fact I was once crazy enough to vote for Obama when he ran for the senate in 2004 and I voted for Hillary(the better choice) in 2008.

You are the one that is refusing to rationally discuss why Obama along with most of Washington is a complete disgrace. I do not blindly follow ANY politician- can you say the same?

Where did I refuse to rationally discuss anything?

Yes, all politicians are a disgrace, whether in Washington or the states or local governments.

No, I don't blindly follow any politician either.

Actually, that is a headline about the pharmaceutical companies and the FDA in monetary cahoots. It is directly relative to the BS Odumbocare mandate. Don't you read the news?

So, if the dems had a half a brain, why not just eliminate the MANDATE????? Let Odumbocare go on, let people sign up. Let the rest of us alone. I don't want to pay for your shitty health. Just as you dems don't want to pay for unwanted babies to be born. "Abort" the mandate!

It's too bad you got no further than the headline. If you had you would have learned that the group referred to in the article was a private group. The FDA attended but they had nothing to do with the
fees that attendees paid.

Where do you get your "news"? Why don't you think for yourself? Here is the organization's website.

http://www.immpact.org/

This is what they say they were doing.

[The mission of the Initiative on Methods, Measurement, and Pain Assessment in Clinical Trials (IMMPACT) is to develop consensus reviews and recommendations for improving the design, execution, and interpretation of clinical trials of treatments for pain.]

What has that got to do with Obamacare? Nothing.

As I said before Le Jimbo spews bulllshitt, and so do you.

BTW I knew nothing about this story until dummy brought it up, and it only took a few minutes to get to the bottom of it. Are you too stupid or too lazy to do that for yourself?

Are you drinking?

The mandate was an idea that came out of The Heritage Foundation. It's a Republican idea you dummy. The Mandate is one of nearly 100 concessions that the Democrats made to the Republican for exactly zero votes.

When you jackasses bray about the polls where so many people don't like Obamacare you include people like me who think too many concessions were made to the conservatives. The problem is that they listened to the right at all. There should have been at least a public option, or better yet single payer.

It most certainly does have a direct correlation to Odumbocare. Meds are part of the fabric of healthcare. Did you ever wonder why there are so many ads on TV for attorneys who file litigation against the pharmaceutical companies. Drugs must pass the FDA approval. Now who do you suppose is sitting in one the Meetings? Spokespeople for the pharms. The bottom line, the FDA and the pharms are in cahoots and the populace are their guinea pigs and money cows. Any way you slice it, it's corruption at it's highest. Here is an interesting tidbit...Primatene mist was an over the counter inhaler for asthma. The FDA and a medical panel of doctors decided it wasn't healthy, along with the politicians agreement to take CFCs off the market (which was the propellent). The doctors claimed that ephedrine (epinephrine) was bad for you, yet they allowed another company to put out an inhaler with that very component in it. What a load of BS, all so the doctors could write a prescription for a less effective inhaler. Nice, who needs healthcare when you have doctors and the FDA to mess up your health?

Because it's the slackers without health insurance who drive up the cost of healthcare.

Everyone should be required to have health insurance, just as everyone who drives is required to have auto insurance. If only the people who had accidents on a regular basis had auto insurance no one would be able to afford the premiums either.
