have someone explain the article to you. Congress wants to support Assad's opposition, who are Al Qadeq
That opposition was not al Qaeda when Assad crossed Řbama's 'red line', and promptly took a back seat to Putin who has become the puppeteer of the marionette that Řbama now appears to be to the world. Maybe a show of stick-to-it-ness when that 'red line' was crossed could have forestalled any aspirations Putin may have entertained about expansionism. Either way, it is either Řbama's actions or inactions that have ultimately kept a mass murderer--Assad--in power.

Yes, both Obama and Congress are wrong in supporting the opposition/rebel/terrorists.

Doesn't matter to what degree they do it.

Supporting the terrorists is WRONG!!

But it's ok to borrow money from China with their human rights abuses?

And it's ok to support the Saudis?

But not okay to support Assad?

Whatever you say, dude!

The bottom line is that Obama is smarter than his critics, a fact he has proven over and over again.

So do you advocate a largely isolationist economic policy for the U.S.?
Or U.S. military intervention in many of the places you view as being in need of correction ?
Or perhaps both ?
There is more work that needs to be done INSIDE the United States than to concern ourselves with other countries problems.

In fact, while USA was intervening in Afghanistan and Iraq, ALIENS were allowed to ILLEGALLY enter our country.

Far better to CLEAN UP OUR COUNTRY FIRST, than to involve ourselves elsewhere.

While this country is TRILLIONS of dollars in debt, the focus should be FIRST on the HOME FRONT.

So you think illegal aliens coming here is only a fairly recent thing - dating from last decade during the peak of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars?
And yes - the U.S. national debt is now over 17 trillion - and you think economic isolationism is the solution to that problem?
Do you know what happened the last time the U.S. tried isolationist policies?
It was called World War 2
Illegal aliens have been sneeking into the country for a very long time.(remember Reagan amnestied them and many more decided to sneak in)

Afghanistan and Iraq was a WASTE of US treasure which could have been put to better use, especially in enforcing our immigration laws (along with improving our infrastructure).

Do you really think that WW2 happened BECAUSE of our isolationist policies? We should have stuck with our isolationist policies, stayed OUT of the war (except for nuking Japan for their assault on Pearl Harbor).

The difference between the deaths under President Bush, and the deaths at Benghazi is none of those deaths occurred because of total negligence on the part of the President, and his Secretary of State. And we wouldn't have to drag the investigation out if Obama, and Hillary would only tell the truth about what happened that fateful night, September 11, 2012. I guarantee as soon as the truth is known we will be done. Hillary cannot win an election until she tells the truth. She might be doing well in the polls today 2 years out, but she doesn't even have an opponent yet.

Boy, could I plow into that nonsense. But what hope do I have for imparting the truth to anyone who can defend the murderous actions of George W. Bush?

No true Marine would tell people to "stfu and get outta my country". I say "true" because a real Marine takes an oath to defend and uphold the constitution including freedom of speech. This is an oath a Marine would give his life to defend. That being said about this wannabe, I agree that those criticizing the president have offered no REAL alternative solutions. And I for one say let the Syrians have Syria and keep my brothers and sisters home
