Not so fast. We've been working with Senator McCain (aka Johnny Appleseed) to create a genetically modified jihadi, free of the al Qaeda genetic aberration and whose America/Israel friendly seeds we can sow in the Levant. We hope that the new strain will be ready for planting later this year, yielding a mature crop in less than 10 years, depending on how prevalent rebel child soldiers are by that time.

It's potentially another Iraq and Afghanistan, and the American people want no part of it!

That's true. We don't want to be involved and we don't need to send our sons to a country where everyone is at each others throat.

The Western militaries must be wise enough to not get involved again in the Middle East in any compacity what so ever.

Lets not forget that it was the American Government that sabbotaged the Secularist Afghani Government of Dr. Mohammed Najibulah in the 1980's by supplying weapons to the Mujahadeen & their Saudi Alqaeda partners; Osama Bin Ladin's Arabs

Afghanistan believe it or not was more or less in one piece up until Dr. Mohammed Najibullah was deposed in 1992, then the Mujahaideen factions started turning on each other, tearing the capital Kabul apart in the process.

Operation Storm-333
was the codename of an operation on 27 December 1979 in which Soviet Special Forces stormed the Tajbeg Palace in Afghanistan and killed Afghan President Hafizullah Amin and his 100150 personal guards.

I strongly believe in the genuinity of the true Syrian people who span back to 10 thousands years to get rid of Arabic and Islamic dominance and bring back their homeland to the fold of human civilizations..,! What a ten years in the age of thousands years old people..? Could be heavy price to cleanse our nation from the radicals of Arab world!!

Stop referring to your contemporary commentators as if they can devised as some kind of excuse.
It should have been obvious by my remark concern in the 50 's I was making reference to Salah Jadid , absolutely nothing to do with Ivan.
