The constant droughts from global warming will keep making the price of food go higher and higher, while at the same time China with 1.4 billion people rise up to middle class and want that food and China has very little top soil left. Also, notice how the extreme weather is costing a fortune every year now to clean up. I saw a special about all of this on The History Channel. And what will happen is we will be spending so much on cleaning up the extreme weather disasters that all that money will no longer be available for things like Social Security and Medicare. Those are our two giant spending items. When every weather disaster is costing 40-90 billion or more to clean up, it adds up to a trillion dollars per year pretty quickly just to clean up the weather disasters. Also, cheap oil has run out so there won't ever be $20 a barrel oil again. It will settle at maybe $150 a barrel, so that means the end of growth for every country. NO more big growth means no way to pay back the debt. So the new model will be very expensive gasoline, food and low wages combined with ending SS, Medicare and spending that money on global warming in many different areas from building massive amounts of solar and wind to disaster cleanups to infrastructure spending to secure areas close to shores, etc.

There's only so much money so it will go to saving people, saving the country, getting on clean energy, and really, people who do not have 5 to 8 years of higher education won't be able to make nearly enough money to be able to afford food and to have cars. And, this is exactly why Bush took the U.S. down with debt and with wars. It was the method for the rich to take most all of the nation's money by piling debt on the country. The rich knew cheap oil was running out and so they horde all the money so that they can be rich at the end of the age of oil, they will be the only ones who have cars and who can go on planes and who will be able to afford to live in safe places and have guards and be able to afford to buy food.

Now you know why the country collapsed at the end of Bush's 8 years and where all the money went and why he had the wars. Oh that and because Iraq had 20 percent of the remaining oil left in the world. So now Exxon and BP have control of that oil. If not for invading Iraq, those companies would have gone out of business because they had no more oil reserves. That's why they want to drill in national parks, that's why they are fracking for shale oil and yet the price of gas is now going down. Shale and sand tar oil is NOT cheap.

It's the end of the age of cheap oil and the end of the model of big entitlements and the beginning of using a lot of our tax money to deal with many areas of global warming effects.

Correct. You said you could be wrong, and I was merely correcting you. I did state the date, 1993. Did you miss that? What exactly did I say that you felt a need to attack? Is that a knee-jerk reaction common among liberals when they are presented with a fact and proven wrong, because they attempt to blame someone else?
Well, if asking a question is considered an attack then you are never questioned or attacked all day. Are you going to answer the question?
