Lies and De Facto Amnesty

In what is being characterized as the Obama administration’s attempt to institute “back door amnesty” for illegal aliens, the Houston Chronicle is reporting that a series of internal memos written by Gary Goldman, Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) chief counsel in Houston, ordered attorneys to review both new and pending cases, and dismiss any of them which did not meet ICE’s “top priorities.” A series of emails, obtained via the Freedom of Information Act, reveal that the dismissals, which numbered hundreds of cases in Houston alone, were approved by ICE attorneys in Washington, D.C. ”It now appears that DHS attempted to mislead the public and Congress on its policy of directing dismissals of cases against criminal aliens,” said Jessica Sandlin, Sen. John Cornyn’s (R-TX) Texas press secretary. “After this failed attempt at stonewalling and obstruction of the public’s right to know, the truth is now coming out.” Full Story

Actually, the Appalachians prefer to have nothing to do with the government, or its handouts.

<quoted text>He is not a third party candidate. He has been a Republican congressman forever. Everyone says he has no chance of winning. If everyone got behind him and elected him we would be rid of both parties policies, break up both parties, end the Fed, end income taxes and end welfare. All everyone has to do is vote for him. It's not rocket science. People say he has no chance so they will put one more standard Repub or standard Dem in office instead. For what?? The country is about two years away from defaulting on the debt. One more standard Repub or Dem will simply make it happen faster. Same people, same policies, same parties, so we just go under faster.
One more Repub will start one more war for profits for corporations, a war in Iran. The Repubs have been chomping at the bit to do so since 2004.
One more round of Obama, forget about it. Nothing will get done, Obamacare has a bizzillion taxes, the country goes under.
Your idea is that it is more important to put one more standard Repub into office to get yet again the same results rather than everyone getting behind the person who will take both parties' policies down and save the country. Makes no sense. I hope you are not voting according to what Fox is telling you. That is only billionaires who want lower taxes and another war because they hold stocks in the war corporations - The Spade Index, Haliburton, Bechtel. They would also gain in stock values in Exxon and BP, just like they did from the war in Iraq. Of course they want lower taxes and another war. They will end SS and Medicare to pay for another war for profits for them. Of course they don't want Ron Paul, he is not going to start a war with Iran for profits for them. He would end income taxes on everyone so they would not have money for wars for profits. But, they are only 2-3 people, we are 98 percent of the voters. We can all vote for Ron Paul, we can take both parties down. All people have to do is take control over the media rather than letting the media tell them what to think and who to vote for. Decide for themselves, end both parties.
1988 Ron Paul ran for President as a Libertarian. Lok it up.
All that you say about vote for him etc is all well and good but you don't expect any of that to happen to do? Repeal Income Taxes? Even Paul hasn't said that. He has advocated what he calls a, "Fair Tax" which is for all practica purposes a national sales tax like the VAT Taxes in Europe. That would not by tself eliminate the INcome Tax. There are others that have proposed a Flat Tax which would by its nature completely revamp the Income Tax system and be much more fair.
As to the usual war comment. It is the typical hyperbole of the uninformed. MIght we go after Iran? Possibly but then should we sit on our hands and allow them to get nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them to our shores? That is their aim and their goal for ater Isreal the USA is the most hated by them. Remember that the prime minister of Iran, I won't attempt to spell his name, is a member of an islamic sect that was ruked too radical by the ayatollah khomeini. Now if he was too radical for him where does that place him and his Government on he scale of nutjobs?
The total withdrawal of all US Troops overseas, as Paul says he would do if eeceted, is naive. The days of being able to hide behind our doors here in the US are gone. We can not even keep the illegals out from our southern border.
So no Paul doesn't stand a snowballs chance in hell of being eleceted until there is a major shift in the mind set of Americans and his continued involvemnet in the campaign only hurts the Republicans and helps the Democarts.

More thab 310,000,000 Americans and who knows how many illegals, but when it's election tin then it's time foe mediocrity.
The best America has to offer its electorate at election time is nothing more than worthless, lifelong buttsmooching has-beens that are repackaged as having the resilient ability to save America.
When does the nation wake up and realize that we have handed power over to a bunch of worthless losers?
Rant all you like but the facts are the facts. Face them or cry in your cornflakes it is up to you but under the curent system the lesser of two evils is the best we can do.
Now please put forward a viable candidate as an alternative to any of these others and see how it goes. The problem is that the Democrats will never vote against the welfare line so what you will accomplish is to hand the elections to idiots like obama.

Good for you. I prefer to sleep well at night with a clean conscience. I will not vote for either party but I insist on completing my civic duty by voting for whom I believe is the correct candidate. Both parties are screwing us and your argument about the lesser of two evils is specious at best.

You can vote for whomever you like just as I can. You can feel free to piss in your own Corn Flakes though. I'm not real sure what that shit was about.

So Why the hostility? I didn't get vulgar with you but yet you insist on geting vulgar with me.

I would love to vote for a real cabdidate but unfortuneately I am a realist and therfor refuse to enable those that that would destroy this country.
So sleep with your clean conscience as your "Correct Candidate" enables the ones that you most want not to win to do just that.
By the way the Crying in your corn flakes was a reference to your rant to which I was responding.

You have actually defeated your own purpose of stopping evil by essentially voting for, as you openly admit, the lesser of two evils. As you surely must recognize, both parties are actually counting on such futility.

I was amused with your references to vulgarity and hostility as it was my way of dealing with your juvenile condescension. All of this fakearoo BS pales against your own "PC" reference to my "Correct Candidate." thanks for making it clear that our foray has been of little or no probative value.

IN actuality you have proven my point. You admit that your vote is thrown away but it is, as you say, "Your civic duty" to vote. I would sugest that your civic duty is to vote for a candidate that will most benefit this country and stop throwing away your vote.
I agree that both parties are in a way screwing the people but lets put it a different way for conversation sake.
Who would you rather have released from prison, a man that killed one person in the heat of pasion or a serial killer? Now I know you will say neither but if you knew that 1 of the two would be released no matter what you wanted would you help the serial killer get released by casting your vote for someone that had noi chance of being released?
Same principle at work in the vote. By throwing away your vote you allow the worse of 2 evils to be elected and aid him in the destruction of the USA.
As I said. Put forward a viable candidate and I will vote for him or her but until there is a candidate that has a chance I will continue to try and send the ne that will do the least amount of damage to Washington.
You can sleep with a clear conscience in the cardboard box that we all end up with after the guy you helped get elected runs this coun try into bankruptcy.Myself I wil sleep with a clear conscience knowing I did all I could to revent him from getting elected.

Both parties leave the southern border open, both parties try to pass an amnesty. Both parties ran up the debt, one party on welfare programs the other party on wars for corporations and for oil companies, and on tax cuts for the rich. Both parties signed the free trade agreements that outsourced jobs to foreign countries because both parties work for the corporations, not for the American people, like Trump is saying, why do they all outsource the jobs to China and India and give tax breaks for buying stuff made in other countries? Because they do not give one crap about any of us nor about this country, they work for the corporations and oil companies, the fat cat bankers and Wall Street, that is why this country is going under. If you don't fight all of them and take this country back for the middle class, send all of them a big, huge message by voting in Ron Paul, and demanding an end to outsourcing jobs, it does not matter which party is in there. It does not matter.

If you leave Obama in there, Obamacare will go though, causing a mess for the economy. If you put the REpubs back in there, they will have you in a 2 trillion dollar war in Iran so fast it will make your head spin. And that will be for oil, for the oil companies, and it will be another 100 billion dollar contract for halibuton to rebuild Iran. We will still sit with a crumbling infrastructure here. Unless you get all of those Aholes out of there now, we really have no chance to survive. Ron Paul is so right that now Perry, Newt and Palin are using his 15 years of work regarding the Federal Reserve. He has all of them on the run, admitting he was right all along about the Fed. He stood up to a war in Iran, he outted them about having another war for oil. Trump is the ONLY one telling the truth that both parties work for the corporations so they let our jobs leave the country. A vote for old time Dems or old time Repubs ensures the U.S. goes completely under.

Exactly. Trump is forcing the neocons to deal with outsourcing. If not for him telling the American people the truth that their jobs are gone, neither party would ever have done one thing about outsourcing. I see Rick Santorum using Trump's stuff now, and I even saw John Bolton saying we need a trade war with China, so Trump has the neocons even finally dealing with outsourcing jobs.

I saw these four Chinese people on a talk show the other night, and they were all saying that Americans are not educated, can't take the good paying jobs. One even said we need to bring educated people here to do the jobs, that we should be importing educated workers. The Chinese do not have big colleges, so they come here to attend college. I also found out the reason the property values have held in NY, LA and SF (San Francisco) is because this is where the Chinese are buying property at high prices. Those are the only housing markets that have not tanked. A three bedroom home with no land around it in SF sells for over a million dollars still. It's the Chinese buying homes there. They mentioned SF, LA and NY. They are buying up our big cities.

So true Pamela. The musical chairs economy continues. As more jobs are squeezed from the nation's economis lifeblood, so won't inflation until there is nothing left. The vegetables of the nation will simply point fingers and blame someone or something for their plight. Once we're finished, they'll go along with the same turds that got us here because they'll be told that they are the only ones who are qualified to help us recover.

Exactly. Have you noticed that like 99 percent of people in this country are so dumb, like they are subhuman? I see tons of them posting they are all on board for a war in Iran now because Fox tells them to vote Republican, and the Republicans in the debate want a war in Iran, so they all go right along with it. These people have been blaming the wars on Obama all of this time, this country is in like 16 trillion dollars of debt and in like 5 wars already, and the people have zero critical thinking skills. They do not think at all. They just blindly let Fox TV think for them and all of them would go into another war, in Iran. It is unbelievable. I really see the downfall of this country is the fact that 99 percent of its people are too dumb to survive, to think, to vote correctly. I'm burned out on trying to inform them. I'm at the point now where I feel like it is a hopeless case.

I think the country will be third world in about five more years. Do you think when the country goes third world, will the dumb people wake up then? When there is nothing left? It's hard to figure. I see it like it will be third world and Fox will still be able to sell it to them. Like "third world is good, so what, we needed this, work for nothing, have nothing, it's all working." And somehow they will still go along with it.
