The only reason weed was made illeagal in the first place was back in I believe the 1930's to attempt to get mexicans out of the country, because back then white people were actually willing to work in the fields. It had nothing to do with it being a drug and everything with to do with politics. At that time if someone smoked weed nobody thought anything of it. It became a tool of law enforcement to reach other goals, same as today. People who think it is a gateway drug to more dangerous drugs are just struggling to postpone the inevitable, and more than likely have zero actual experience with it. You don't hallucinate, your reflexes don't degenerate like they do with booze, but it does become easier to tune out close-minded morons.

Please give an example of your above assumptions.

BTW "reefer madness" was fiction. You wouldn't happen to be an Anslinger descendant, would you?

The most abused drug of all is alcohol, yet it is legal. It causes more deaths than all illegal drugs combined. Cigarettes are far more harmful than marijuana.
I assume you are consistent in your thought process and support prohibition of alcohol and cigarettes?
DANG STRAIGHT!!!

People go out and drink then get behind the wheel of a car and kill someone. But, it's illegal for someone to use an all natural plant to feel better. I think if alcohol is going to be legal then all drugs should be legal. It would cut down on the buying and selling of illegal drugs.

I wonder what would happen if politicians were forced to take a few tokes. Would they screw up and tell the truth, maybe actually answer a question instead of side-stepping it?

The day will come that marijuana will be legal. It is only matter of time.

That day will come just as soon the powers that be figure out how to make it work to their advantage, probably not because the people want it that way. Quick quiz, what is the opposite of progress? CONGRESS!!!

I don't understand these fake small govt conservatives. They are for smaller and less intrusive govt until it has something to do with who you want to marry or what you do with your body?

I don't get it.
