As usual Congress is following the lead of our Terrorist and Thief President Obama. Obama who knows absolutely nothing about the trouble he will cause by pushing this issue. Congress is equally stupid with a disaster like Nancy Pelosi as House Speaker. Keep the ban on! Patrotic gays what a crock! They are just doing this so they can then push for the USA to approve gay marriages throughout the USA. Obama is stupid enough to approve that too.

When you are down in the dumps and think you have real problems, just remember: SOMEWHERE IN THIS WORLD, THERE IS A POOR BASTARD NAMED MR. PELOSI!!

This may seem a bit simplistic but if you are so firmly against the current trends of your nation of birth that you believe the country effectively dead why not move somewhere more in keeping with your ideas and goals?

The rebirth begins November 3, 2010. Only a coward would leave the country they love rather than fight to restore her to her glory.

"Her glory" just seems a fragile thing if homosexuals serving openly in the armed forces is all it takes to dull it?

I suppose it's a style issue and I'm just not used to these levels of dramatics in politics. People on the board write as though elected officals have been creeping in at night to drink the blood of babies and then sit up, lost and indignant at the suggestion that they would be happier elsewhere.

It's much more than the qu eers in the military issue.

Actually, for decades, America has been too undramatic in politics. The Tea Party movement is bringing honest country loving Americans back to politics and the country will be much better as a result.

I love the tea party! I have little to no idea what they're rattling on about but the misspelled signs/weird protests are used as timefiller for the news out here and lends the movement a folksy feel.

Do you truly think Japan is much more sophisticated than America? Do you think we are a bunch of rednecks with low brain cell counts and inbred throughts? I promise you this my friend... If america stopped working, there would be problems in Japan soon after. Your economy would collapse if we didn't keep working.

Not at all. I think the people they show are angry, feeling isolated and demonstrate that they have already been given limited access to education and economic outlets. While I am a bit confused at the level of nationalistic/racial/heteronor mative rhetoric that has been produced it seems an understandable response from a group that feels powerless and unheard.

I think you'll start to notice that contrary to mainstream media, the effects of this "isolated" group of people are going to prove more widespread and mutual than the media is showing it to be. We have already seen the effects in primary elections where incumbants are unable to get re-election bids. Early poll numbers show Pelosi/Reid and others being removed with undisputable numbers. The people were angry at Bush and wanted change. They didn't want thier country's values and beliefs put into a blender. We might as well light a match and burn the constitution...
