SLDNa s Carpenter Warns Ita s No Time For Complicacy On DADT Repeal
The Servicemembers Legal Defense Network’s Tom Carpenter is warning the LGBT community that while progress has been made in repealing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”, much still needs to happen before the laws finally comes to an end. In a post on LGBT POV, Carpenter says, “While we should take a breath, see what we did right and what we can do better, now is not the time for a victory lap-far from it. The road ahead will be even more difficult with many opportunities for our opponents to derail our march to honest and open service. Let’s just consider some of the tactics that will likely be employed.”

Yeah, let's wait another thirty years, until most of the opposition is dead. Because that's the best way to gain rights--waiting around, doing nothing.

McCain is an out of touch, spiteful, old man. He's mad at the world since his stunning presidential defeat. John McCain once said that he would support the repeal if the general wanted to repeal the law. Of course we all know what a blatant liar and flip flopper John McCain is
