Strickland is a blood sucking vermin that is in the process of finding a new victim. Career politicians are the cause for much of America's problems.

His backing of President Obama cost him the election. He placed Ohio second to his party so he should move up to chair the DMC.

I hope he gets the job, maybe it will keep him from hanging around the state house.

I just saw a poll from the public policy institute last week that Strickland is polling 15 points ahead of Kasich in a theoretical rematch. LOL!

I'm sure that the folks who are against SB5 would want Strickland back. I don't pay to much attention to polls unless I can see the questions and result because the majority of polls are twisted in the direction the folks giving the poll want to go.

Plunderbund is a TOTALLY left leaning and socialist praising blog. It has no creditbility.

So if you think they did a real poll which represents a cross sample of Ohioans that is not the case.
I bet they asked 20 progress ohio members the questions.

These comments about the former governor show just how low we have descended into the depths of rancor and gross partisanship. To his credit, Ted Strickland has never worked for Lehmann Brothers, never worked for Fox News and was never paid off by insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies, as have his opponents. To the folks who use the words socialist and left-leaning and still don't know what they're talking about, get a life. Before becoming a congressman, his profession was in the healing realm, where he served as a minister and counselor. He has a post-graduate education, while Kasich was "educated" and paid off by lobbyists, insurance companies and bankers. I'll choose anyone who advocates health care and education investment over tax breaks for the wealthiest and union-busting. I guess that when you're not advocating for the insurance industry but advocating for the common man, then these cretins use the socialist word. What a limited vocabulary some folks seem to possess.

Man, the kook fringe Left can't help themselves. I can name ten better picks without even thinking about it, yet, they seem to always shoot themselves in the foot. The clueless and blind Strickland leading the spineless and out of touch loons on the Left. Sounds about right. Good choice LEfties, good choice!

Gee, being in the deep pockets of the Unions (trumpka the communist) does have its rewards. Too bad, Strickland couldn't do anything positive for the average tax paying Ohioan - oh forgot, unless they belonged to a union - that is. Paybacks are a .....- hope you can sleep at night knowing what a crook you are Strickland! You deserve nothing but to go back home and actually work.... for your living for a change.....you socialist

Gee, what a limited vocabulary you have yourself! If you actually watched Fox News, you might learn more than just liberal media bias scruff. Mr. Stickland was in the pockets of the Unions....so what does that make him you creatin....a socialist like Mr. Stickland, or a communist like some of the Union big wigs....or just a twit!

Strickland is a nice man but please tell me one positive change he made as Governor. We lost more jobs under his helm...he did nothing to fix the school funding issue (he himself said he would fix it or we were not to reelect him)...major corporations moved out of the state and taking the jobs with them...
Please give me fact based policies that he implemented that was positive for Ohio. Doing nothing and allowing the state to continue to decline was irresponsible.

No he worked as a methodist minister, which is worse than Lehmann Brothers and Fox combined. He attempted to spread religion with his lies and corruption through his annointed profession. If he was so dedicated to his profession as a minister and counselor, why isn't he returning to his professional training? Not enough money? Not enough corruption? You are definitely the one that needs to get a life, try the methodist church, they are looking for someone to replace him.
