It has been at least a year since this "panel" was suggested. After a year, have they done anything at all??? Or is it just meetings between people who would rather talk than do something?? This should be a priority!!! Our states need this done so that they have direction on reform. Long sentences and laws that do more harm than good have made our states "prison cost poor". Most can't balance a budget without cutting money in education, social work, and anything else they can cut that is good for the people. They cut everything they feel we can do without EXCEPT their pay, and there they stop. They will make no sacrifice for their state.
